“Shocking Service - NEVER USE AGAIN”

Awful! Didn’t turn up to an airport run. Rude and unapologetic

Awful!!!! Left me and my two kids waiting at the airport for 55 minutes. Had to get a train in the end. Very rude. Very unapologetic. DO NOT USE THEM. DEFINITELY DON’T RELY ON THEM!!?

Left a family with an airport pickup or an apology

Their app didn't pass over our flight number to them, unfortunately, they didn't call us about this at the time we booked, but when our flight arrived in the small hours of the morning.

They were unapologetic about it and told us we'd have to wait 40 minutes for a car as if we hadn't pre-booked.

A previous airport pickup/dropoff had gone well (and we like to support local businesses) but at that time we booked direct so perhaps that is the best way to interact with them rather than use something more modern.

Extremely rude driver!

I had booked an airport drop for 26/08/22. The driver was downright rude from the beginning. As I sat in the cab and he started reversing it, I suggested to him that he need not reverse it and drive straight and turn left to get to the main road. He reacted saying 'I have been driving to Heathrow for the past ten years, doe some 3000 airport drops, I know my way'. Thus began the ride. Then I realised he was heading to the city roads, instead of the motorway which is usually the quickest and the normal route. I told him that the city roads will take much longer and I didn't have the time, so he needed to use the motorway. He resisted until I told them firmly to drop me back at my home. Finally relented and took the motorway, but every few minutes he would start rambling again that he has years of experience of driving and on and on. Getting sick of this, I politely told him that he may be right in his own convictions, but I wanted to take the motorway which all cabbies usually do, and I didn't want any argument. To cut a long story short, it was a terrible one hour ride with one of the rudest drivers I have come across.

Was good, now gone very bad, apparently.

Booked for 14/07/22

This firm is now complete 'crap' booked for 09:00, arrived 09:40. Consequently I was late for a meeting.

Pre booked return journey for 16:30, arrived 16:55

I am a wheelchair user, this was mentioned when booking as were exact instructions as to where to find my home address, as it is in a cul-de-sac.
Information not passed to drivers, apparently.

Both outward and return drivers couldn't find addresses and had to make calls to ask for directions.

Don’t bother. Use Uber.

Pre-booked can the night before for 0800. No cab appeared. When I called they said it would be at least another half an hour because they couldn’t get a driver. I suggested it would have been nice to be called. I was told they were ‘struggling to get an outside line.’ Oh. Right.
Uber arrived within five minutes. And that’s why cab companies are disappearing.

Cancelled Heathrow pick up at last minute. without informing me.

Booked an airport pick up 3 weeks in advance at Heathrow. Received a confirmation the afternoon of the pick up but noticed the time was incorrect so called them. Was informed that they would not do the pick up, system was wrong. Managed to book another taxi company, but obviously a higher price due to last minute availability. Do NOT recommend anyone use Cannon Cars for Heathrow pick up.

Unreliable

Terrible service!!! Unreliable and over priced. The cab didn't turn up so rang to find out why. This was for a hospital appointment so was very important. Was told car had broken down (?) but they didn't bother informing us!! Said another cab would be along in 15 minutes which turned up HALF HOUR LATE!!
Then to add to the stress, the cost was more than quoted. NEVER USE CANNON CARS again - far too unreliable and costly.

Best taxi driver ever

Thank you for the excellent customer service we received from Stuart Norwood. During the extremely bad weather and storms this weekend our railway connections were disrupted. Stuart said he would get us to the required train station for our connection whatever. Good luck Stuart with the book you are writing.Thank you for your positive energy and for brightening up our day.
