A very interesting place to visit especially on Remembrance Day a lot of effort is put in to this day with the parade and the service.

This is on a small green in centre of village near the very pretty village sign post ,it is well kept and all he poppy wreaths was fresh an as it was only last month they was laid.It is so sad the huge loss of life in the first world war,these would have been village lads probably thinking they was in for a bit of adventure.

We found this First World War Memorial right in the centre of Tattershall on the Green area close to the main road. It dates back to around 1919 and has the names of those that lost their lives during the First World War from the local area.
It really looks well kept and has railings around the area where it stands. There is a step at the base and then a column rises from the centre with an orb on top.
