Went there for the first time today. Being autumn as we expected, the garden was not at its best, but it did mean there were open views of the valley where the garden is located.
All the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent and tasty. Guidance from the ticket office staff member was very good and we were advised on the best path. There are many steps and some paths are steep but are manageable. Due to the steps I'd not recommend but wheelchair users or prams.
The sculptures were really interesting. Their size was perfect for the settings in the garden, and they were a joy to see.

First the practicalities, this place is off the beaten track and up narrow lanes, you need to book online in advance and they only take card payments when you are there. The paths are steep and can be slippery so not suitable for people with mobility issues. There’s a cafe serving lovely fresh food.
We loved this place, full of all sorts of different sculptures and spread across a large (45 acre) site. We had a pleasant day wandering around the ground spotting the sculptures and a lovely lunch in the cafe. We’re fairly local so will definitely be back, keen to see it in autumn and when the rhododendrons are out. All the staff were very friendly.

Visited, with the dog, on Sunday 1 September, lady on reception was very friendly and accommodating, said as the weather was a bit ropey that we could take the dog inside the cafe if we wanted to. At £13.50 per adult, the entrance fee is quite expensive, but they have a lot to keep on top of. Living in Derbyshire, and having visited Chatsworth a number of times, the bar has been set pretty high in terms of gardens and sculptures! But this is really very lovely. Many of the sculptures are for sale which made the walk more interesting, looking up how much they cost!

Lovely gardens and very friendly staff. Much nicer than expected, beautiful plants and sculptures. Nice coffee shop with good food selection

Visited here before we were able to access our holiday accommodation. Booked online the day before ( it’s advised to do this in advance). Card payments only, accepted across the whole site. Staff were friendly. Peaceful walking areas… make sure you wear suitable footwear as some terrain is steep/uneven. Favourite sculpture was the Blue Poppies. Good selection of food/drink available in the cafe.

Booked our tickets online. Very clear information that they do not accept cash.
A beautiful and magical place. Worth every penny. Fabulous sculptures and maintained grounds, a surprise or treat round every corner. Cleanest porta loo I have ever seen!
After a morning exploring we had lunch at the tea shop. We sat outside as we had 2 dogs with us (again no dogs inside was made very clear) we had the Ghurka Curry which was splendid, loved the continued theme with the food.
All the staff we encountered were happy friendly and helpful. Yes we would visit again and again!!! Only downside no postcards as I wanted to share with an elderly long distance relative, on grand scale nothing to complain about!

Absolute Disgrace.....DO NOT GO....This place DOES NOT TAKE CASH....so does not deserve your custom....!!!!!

Although it is far off the beaten track, this garden is certainly worth the effort of getting there. We had a great time wandering through the gardens and seeing the very varied sculptures. Rounded off the visit with a visit to the cafe for a superb panini and cake.

Off the beaten track but a great find! Sculpture park and great grounds although pretty hilly! Very good cafe, no wifi! Toilets are good too. No concessionaire pricing for over 65; £13 entrance fee! A bit steep.
