灵水又名灵源，灵犀水，距广西南宁市区30公里，距武鸣县城南1公里，是一个天然泉水湖。传说泉中曾有两只灵犀鸟生活，时常在风平浪静时浮出水面，它们光彩四射，美丽无比，因以“灵水”名之。其水面宽达5000平方米，水深2—3米，湖中九股清泉汨汨突涌，它们急浪滔滔，气势磅礴，永流不断，人称“九龙喷水”。湖水终年澄澈见底，湖岸怪石嶙峋，绿树成阴。灵水的奇特之处有两点，一是四季常清，清可见底，鱼窜虾游，历历在目，不管大涝或大旱，它仍然不溢不涸，不混不浊。二是不管春夏秋冬，它的水温都保持在摄氏23摄氏度左右，是个天然游泳池，炎夏跃入水中，酷热顿消；冬天在水中浸泡，遍身温暖。一年四季到此游泳的人络绎不绝，还是国家体委游泳队的训练基地。每年农历三月三及中秋节，数万壮族乡亲汇聚湖边，搭台对歌，观灯赏月，纵情尽歌，通宵达旦。掌握灵水最新奇的旅游资讯，了解最真实的网友点评，预定最便宜的舒适酒店，TripAdvisor为您提供灵水全方位的信息。

As the hot weather is coming, during the Labor Day, we went to the Lingshui Lake to swim. It took about 1 hour from Nanning to Wuming, and it's easy to find. As in the holiday ,there were many peoples went to swim, the water is clear and clean,it is the spring water, so very comfrtable to swim. And it is good for the children paly,too. After the swimming ,we could have a walk and took a rest in the grassland, very great. The ticket is cheap,I think it must be very popupar for people in the Summer^^

A lovely place to relax and swim. Wuming is my wife's home town so we often go there when visiting. Many people go before 7am when it is free and before the sun gets too hot. A constant 22 degrees C or so but feels ice cold because of the high ambient temperature. The only downside is that there are big rocks in the water and these are very slippery when entering the water. BBQ snacks at the side of the pool.

We stayed at the hotel across the street from this while we did an English summer camp in WuMing. So we went swimming whenever we could. Go during the day if you want to really swim otherwise the crowd of swimmers is overwhelming. The water is beautifully clean and clear and the area is beautiful. A bit dangerous though because of the rocky natural sides. Also there is barbecue sold on site. You can rent lockers to store your stuff. The hotel across the street is nothing special, but conventient, and the restaurant is great.
