If you do one thing in Alaska it should be this helicopter tour! The scenery is amazing and being the only 3 people for miles is just an incredible experience. Mark is a great pilot, told us a lot about the glacier and the area and happily took quite a few pictures of us. I had never been in a helicopter and was nervous about this but so glad I went. If you have an opportunity to do this and pass it up, you will regret it!

Amazing trip with Mark, an incredibly knowledgeable guide and pilot. Highly recommend if you are visiting Alaska and want close-up view of a glacier. Loved the blue pool and the views of the immense Matanuska Glacier.

The view is awesome. It is my first time to see such a big glacier. The helicopter pilot is also nice and patient. He helped us to take a lot of good photos.

It was an amazing experience! Our pilot was great about ensuring we were comfortable walking on the glacier and provided full assistance as needed. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful glacier tour with Mark. It is an adventure we will always remember. Before landing on the glacier we saw 3 bull moose together and on the way back we spotted a black bear on a ridge. The views were special and Mark was very interesting in his commentary. We would recommend this tour to anyone. You will not be sorry you went.

Alaska residents but still totally awe-inspired. We love Sheep Mountain and the summer helicopter tour with landing at the Blue Pool was fantasic. Mark, owner and pilot, is a wonderful guide. Knowledgeable and fun to be with. Will go again and send others. Highly recommend.

It took around 2 hours to drive to Sheep Mountain lodge from Anchorage. Drive was nice and scenic. Pilot was very knowledgeable and gave good overview of Matanuska glacier. Landed next to glacier pool, took lots of pictures, drank glacier water. Spent extra 15 min to went down closer to glacier pool. Pilot had provided rope for safety. This is must to visit -

We took an incredible helicopter tour of the glacier led by an expert guide with deep knowledge of the terrain and wildlife. The blue glacier pools were incredible in August. Mark provided exceptional care for our group of nine, ages 5 to 74, and expertly adjusted the tour to accommodate our varying abilities. We also stayed at the lodge, which was stunningly beautiful, tranquil, and picturesque, with spotless accommodations and excellent food.

We had an amazing time on our glacier tour with our pilot and Sheep Mtn. Lodge owner, Mark. The flight was smooth and relaxing from take off until we returned. Mark knows the area so well and freely shared his knowledge with us.

From the moment we met mark , we were convinced we were in for a great trip. Very engaging and promising so much. He deliver in spades
Sought out the elusive moose and found 5/6 in the first 5 minutes. Then onto the spectacular glacier where we propped down on a precipice, donned the ice spikes and walked the short distance to the aqua blue pools. The silence and beauty was overwhelming. Highly recommended
