Very nice castle. Held well. The visit is free and is run by volunteers. Any offers are for the maintenance of the property.

Yesterday I visited this castle, opened thanks to a handful of elderly village volunteers who lend their work for free to make known this ancient manor that belonged to Mr. Manservisi. The guide, a very lively gentleman, tells with transport the ancient and recent events of the castle and explains its furnishings. Admission is free and all visitors leave something because the money from the offerings is used for the essential maintenance of the castle itself.

This is a really nice place.
The castle garden is very well maintained, we can also have small picnics.
The castle also is very beautiful, it seems to be in a fairy tale.
Suitable for adults and children.
The only drawback that irretrievably ruined my experience (but I still give 5 stars) is that adjacent to the castle there is a corner full of books and games for children, including puzzles.
Well, one of them (the Disney princesses) was missing by 4 pieces.
It bothered me.
Despite this terrible episode I would recommend a visit.
Little trick: bring 4 puzzle pieces from home to enhance the experience.

Well-kept castle, managed by an association which, in addition to offering free visits to the castle, hosts cultural events and weddings.
In winter it is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm.
Events are gradually organized such as Halloween in October.
Street parking.

The Manservisi castle was actually built by renovating a villa belonging to the Nanni Levera family; the author of this renovation which took place at the end of the 19th century was Alessandro Manservisi, owner of a tailor's shop in Bologna.
For a certain period, by will of Manservisi himself, the castle was also used as a colony for needy children.
We were accompanied on the visit by a nice gentleman who is a volunteer guide who is part of the association that now manages this place and who explained the history to us in great detail.
Don't miss the tapestry room.
it is also possible to rent the entire castle to celebrate weddings and parties.
Definitely worth a visit.

Well-kept castle in the center of the characteristic town, surrounded by greenery and surrounded by mountains. Nice park around the castle. It can be visited inside where there are still original furnishings and furniture, including a beautiful stove. Restaurants and bars where you can stop to eat and drink nearby.

Il castello, in sé, è bello, ben tenuto ma non autentico. Ricca è la sua storia, anche con molti aspetti controversi, come ci ha raccontato la guida. Una gemma nascosta.
