A very interesting place to visit, specially for the kids. and the kids at hear. However, it needs updating. We can level with other museums in other countries

Brought my five-year-old here in Feb 2020. Was expecting better, to be honest. It’s decent and will be good if you’ve never been to this type of place before, but if you’ve been to other science centers in the developed world, this one won’t match by comparison. Biggest issue was about half of the interactive exhibits were broken when we visited. May have been better a few years ago but it appears that maintenance is slipping. Signage in some areas could also be improved to be more engaging. My kid liked it, though would be better at an older age, maybe from 7 or 8 onwards, as many of the exhibits need a lot of reading and are not aimed to engage young kids.

Thank you for visiting The Mind Museum. While we are happy that you enjoyed, we understand that it could have been better.
We appreciate your feedback and rest assured that we are doing our best to upkeep the interactive exhibits as fast as possible. As hundreds of children visit us on a regular basis, we apologize that we sometimes fall short.
We are also regularly enhancing and creating new exhibits and programs. Recently we opened our latest exhibit called Playtales on the second floor. It is specifically designed for younger minds, ages 2-years-old - 6-years-old. Here they can have fun learning about themselves, the people around them and the wider world. Hope to see you again soon!

It was a great exhibit but many exhibitions were under maintenance. A lot of educational material presented in a fun manner, including interactive and live sessions.

Thank you for visiting The Mind Museum. We apologize that you caught us at a time when we were rushing the upkeep of many interactive pieces. Due to the regular visits of hundreds of kids, our exhibits tend to breakdown from their enthusiasm for science. Please rest assured that we do our best to service these as soon as possible.
Over all we are happy to hear that you enjoyed the interactivity of our pieces as well as our Mind Moving Studios featuring experiment demonstrations.
We hope to see you again soon. We will have new exhibits and programs for you to enjoy.

First, how to get there by bus, we took the BGC bus at the Ayala terminal, Upper West route. They have a stop near the Mind Museum. You need to use a beep card to ride the bus.
We bought the unlimited day pass. You can go in and out the museum at any time during the day with the pass.
We explored the museum at around 9am, we can't get enough exploring and trying everything inside, the interactive exhibits, the shows, the informative displays and event the lectures are all sooo cool.. Feels like studying science for a day and it was fun. Its already past 12 when we realized we are hungry, and conveniently, there is a Jollibee nearby..
What I liked most about this museum is how it can cater both young and grown up minds. Diverse displays and activities made me engaged in the place. I really wanted to go back again with friends.

the visit involves lots of reading (a plus!), it is divided into 5 "galleries", each with its own theme. There is a giant model of a human brain, a periodic table with boxes for the 'elements' (aluminium can in Al, etc, no radioactive ones though haha).
The playground just outside has human-sized soap bubbles, moebius slide, binculars with bird or shark vision and other fun stuff.
Recommended for kids and adults alike!

The place is clean and it's unlike the usual museums where you are not allowed to touch anything, Here, you are invited to explore the displays to know how it works. Because of that, the kids are compelled to read the information about the display so that they will know how it works which is not how they used to act on usual museums where they just look at the display and then on to another.
My only suggestion is to not allow high schoolers to be there with the pre-schoolers. If they will allow that, PLEASE make sure to properly monitor the kids. Two high schoolers were running around and tackled my then 3 years old son to the floor. They laughed and ran away. I couldn't tell which school because they were wearing a plain jacket so I had no way of telling the guards where to look. We had to leave the trip early because my son's head was bleeding. That incident is very traumatizing.

Thank you for visiting The Mind Museum. We are very sorry to hear about your traumatizing experience. Please rest assured that we will not be scheduling any large field trips of older kids with those of younger ones.
We deeply regret your son's injury. We encourage you to immediately report incidences like this to us. You can always approach any of our visitor service staff at the lobby, or one of our guards at the galleries. All our staff is happy and prepared to assist. We have a clinic and a medic on duty. Everyone's safety is of utmost importance. We treat cases such as yours very seriously.
We are saddened that you left without treatment for your son's injury, nor allowed us to investigate the school group in question. Horseplay is not allowed in the museum. We do not tolerate it. We will remind our staff to be more vigilant to prevent further instances such as this.
Please accept again our apologies for your unfortunate visit. We wish you and your son well.

The Mind Museum was a fun and interactive museum. Three hours is not enough if you want to explore it with your kid who is hungry to learn and explore. Suggest that you go there early on a weekday to be able to make the most out of the place and see all the shows they offer.
I gave it a four though because some ‘attractions’ were not well maintained and some ‘buttons’ were already broken but the all in all experience was great.

Thank you for visiting The Mind Museum. We are happy to hear about your son's first field trip and of his curiosity and wonder for the world around him.
We also regret to hear that your experience could have been somewhat better. As an interactive museum explored by hundreds of kids on a regular basis, our exhibits tend to get worn out fast. Please rest assured that we are doing our best to fix these at once so that everyone can enjoy them.
Hope to see you again soon. We will always have new and exciting exhibits and programs to fuel your son's love for learning.

A friend was able to secure one ticket (a wrist strap) so I could see the Van Gogh Alive multi sensory exhibition sponsored by the Mind Museum. These shows were sold out online. The show also was housed outside the museum so keep that in mind.
If you go then I recommend heading directly to the media room and leave the reading to after the show. That will help you get one of the benches or a seat on the floor in the middle of all the screens.
The show runs continuously so even if you’re late to the show then you’ll eventually catchup with the different themes presented. The show was enjoyable to watch as it traced Van Gogh’s career, works of art as he moved through France. Thousands of images were presented to a musical score.
In the lobby, artworks and Van Goh’s state of mind were explained through numerous placards. There was also a re-creation of his bedroom where people were able to take group photos or selfies.
