Wine a little too expensive! The hostess not too interested in explaining her wine! Pleasant outdoor space! But no more! I would not recommend this place!

My expectations were high, this is the type of wine we like to try!
But we got no accompaniment. 8 glasses of wine served at the compatoir to take away ourselves outside with no explanation on the grape varieties where the history of the wine.
The branding is beautiful young and dynamic, the building is beautiful. But the customer experience was very disappointing for us.

Trail offers some very different wines, including orange wines. Good quality wine. My only suggestion would be to offer tastings instead of purchasing only by the glass. With such drastically different offerings such as many skin-contact (orange) wines, I would have loved the chance to try more than one, unless you want to sip from your partner's glass.

We dropped in at Trail estates - which is right next to the awesome Millenium Trail cycle path - much in need of a sampling of wine. We were not disappointed. Both the reds and whites we sampled were excellent - as was the service. Can’t wait to come back and try more from their amazing cellar selections.

Disappointed with this stop. Although their sign out front said tasting bar open, we were told that they don't do tastings on Friday. The only option was to buy an expensive glass of wine. We sat outside for a while with our dog and not one of the staff from the winery even came out to ask how we were enjoying the wine. Lack of customer service and misleading signage.

We had wine tastings at Trail Estate. 3 glasses out of 6 were dirty with red wine and lipstick and the blond lady at the bar almost refused to change them for clean ones. We don’t recommend this touristic place..

We came here for a tasting because a friend had brought one of their wines to dinner at our place, and we loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting, and Trail Estates makes some seriously great wine. We could not leave without buying some :)

Coming to the county for a wine tasting is overwhelming, there are more than 40 wineries around! If you are looking for a special experience I’d suggest Trail Estates. They are creative with their wines, and it shows. The staff are knowledgeable and are more than happy to sit with you and really go into detail about the wine. This winery, in my opinion, really shows what the county has to offer. I tried their Pét-Nat, and it blew me away. It’s a more expensive winery, but it’s 100% worth it.
