Final resting place of Tipu Sultan. Tombs of his parents and also other family members are here too. Worth a quick visit when in Srirangapatna

This place is about 4 kms from Srirangapatnam. You first come to Tipu's Summer Palace. Go a couple of kilometers further and you reach the tomb where Tipu was laid to rest.
Place was not very crowded. There is no entrance fee, but one needs to pay for parking - Rs 50 for a 4-wheeler. The place was clean and well-tended.

Definitely a must-do, to visit this burial place of Tipu and his parents. Outside are many more burials, including of his wife and son. It is free to go in and wander around. Pictures not allowed inside, but OK throughout the grounds. Masjid-E-Aqsa is there facing the Mausoleum.

Resting place of Tipu Sultan and his family members. Including his father Hyder Ali mother Fakhr-Un-Nisa. It was built by Tipu sultan and tipu sultan was buried after the seize of Srirangapatana in 1799 by british. Small guided tour is available inside the gumbaz. Paid parking is available but at the entrance so many people will call you for Horse Riding which is little unprofessional as per my point of view. The place you can complete the visit within 15 to 20 minutes. Inside the gumbaz you can feel the breeze in Hot seasons as well. Well planned built I can say. Surrounded by a garden. If you are visiting the Daria Daulat bag and Sangam this is a must visit place.

This is the burial place of Tipu Sulatan and his family with the tombs being covered in Tiger stripes. Interesting to visit if you have just been to his Summer palace neaby , as we had.
Not particularly large in area, but well maintained and impressive entrance. Very busy when we visited in December and quite a few stalls, traders outside the main gate.
Loos clean - small payment required.

C'est le tombeau de la famille de Tipu.
Belle entrée et le monument se dresse fièrement au soleil. En approchant, les détails de l'architecture se dévoilent, et on peut admirer quelques très belles portes décorées d'ivoire.
La pièce avec les 3 tombeaux est grandiose, mais attention : elle est fermée à l'heure de midi --> 14h
Le vendredi, en fin e matinée, il y a la prière dans la mosquée attenante et c'est un beau moment de la culture locale C'est le côté multi-religions du coin : d'un côté cette belle mosquée, et de l'autre à quelques 2 kilomètres le très beau temple Ranganathaswamy.
Tout est bien entretenu c'est agréable de s'y promener

This is the mausoleum of Tipu Sultan built for his parents and other relatives and the British allowed his family to bury him here after his defeat and death. Frankly speaking I find graves a bit eerie and and hence I had a cursory look at the place without touring it extensively. The garden was unkempt, strewn was fallen leaves when I visited.

If you are visiting Tipu Sultan’s palace this mausoleum is an interesting add on as is it is very near. The building itself is very attractive with its white circular dome. Unfortunately the grounds in front of and inside have a lot of rubbish thrown down and left uncleared - this detracts from the ambiance of the building. Entry is free, perhaps the managers of the site should charge and employ some cleaners.

宮殿からは少し離れていますが、こちらも興味深いところです。男性と女性の葬られ方の違いもよく分かります。学生さんたちもたくさん訪れていました。
