We have used this lodge a few times as a resting place when we do mountain biking . its a nice clean and quite comfortable place, which offers some simple traditional Malaysian food.i would like to highlight a bit more about the impressive mountain ranges for biking . This sport i always do when i want to get away from the bustling live in the city. My favorite place is Bukit Jugra, where we take our bikes up either by pushing them or if there is a route we take the 4 wheel drive up, from up here we enjoy the tranquility of greenery , before we decent on our bikes.hiking in Proga Hills,Semenyeh ,(District ) is another spectacle for the eye and photography, You have to reach early here to capture the dramatic natural spectacle of the sunrise make sure you are here bu latest 6:45 am,a breathtaking 360 degree view is awaiting you too.The Kemensa Forest reserve near the National Zoo is also very attractive for it's waterfalls, streams camping sides and also camping Resort but most of all ATV riding . Templer Park is another good place for hiking and having a picnic. When we had enough of biking we will go for a hearty lunch at the Pandian ( Indian food ) Restaurant in SS8 Petaling Jaya , another option is the Ipoh Chicken Rice restaurant on Jalan Gasing. For the not so much nature lovers there is plenty of activity in the concrete jungle of Kuala Lumpur to do, there are many historical sides and monuments, steel - clad skyscrapers, mosques and temples and of course not to forget China Town to visit. Plenty of mega- sized shopping malls open their door daily from 10 am to 10 pm , 7 days a week.

You’ve experienced East Malaysia, how about exploring the West?
So you’ve had an amazing weekend in Langkawi, Penang or Kuching. Now why not plan your next holiday at Kuala Selangor?
An undiscovered jewel in West Malaysia, Kuala Selangor has a lot to offer. A quaint little city at the mouth of the Selongor river the city is drawn by a map of shops. From a distance you can also see the picturesque lighthouse. To enjoy the beauty of the city there are chalets that you can rent.
Don’t be surprised to see a Silverleaf monkey on your porch when you wake up in the morning. Also enjoy an amazing glitterati of fireflies during long night walks with your loved ones. A must see is the beautiful Selangor river. Soft waves lashing through your feet and a flock of fireflies decorating the river banks. You’re almost lost in wonder and will be in a trance with this tranquil beauty. The atmosphere looks so festive and bright. With each move of a firefly, you’ll jump in excitement as if the entire area lit up for an occasion.
For all you curious historic lovers, one place you must discover is the Bukit Melawati, an old fort called the Utrecht. Built by the Sultan Ibrahim of Selangor, this fort remains untouched.
If you’re planning on driving from Kuala Lumpur, take the Sungai Buloh route or if you decide to come from the North-South highway then you could follow the road signboard. With so much to do I’m sure you’d plan your next trip to Selangor.
