Had an absolutely incredible hack on the fabulous Teddy. Brilliant, forward-going but really trustworthy and friendly ponies. Enjoyed amazing scenery and meeting the wild ponies with a couple of fun canters. Megan, our leader, was really friendly and fun which was the icing on the cake 😊 even the weather was good! Highly, highly recommend.

My husband and myself enjoyed a lovely ride with Tregoyd Mountain Riders. We were well matched with our horses and rode to the conditions of the day. The views were absolutely amazing! Our guide for the morning was mindful of each rider's experience and an excellent guide. We felt safe but still able to take in the breathtaking views. I would go again. I enjoyed it so much that I'm going to take up hacking again.

I went for a half day ride with my sister. The ride size was good, with 4 or 5 of us in total and we were well matched to horses. I rode the lovely Tiger Lily. Views were stunning. Ride was adjusted for weather, and the centre moved our ride from afternoon to morning due to heat warning, and managing horse and rider welfare. We had a couple of canters, but again centre was mindful of heat and ground conditions and put horse welfare first was was great. I have my own horse so ride a lot, but it was a real treat to ride a lovely horse in beautiful scenery. Staff all friendly, helpful and professional. Will go again next time I'm in Hay on Wye.

Having just spent two full days riding round the black mountains with Tregoyd riding I would highly recommend.
The horses were lovely, suitable for all abilities from experienced to novice. We had some lovely long canters on flat grassy areas and stopped for a picnic lunch in the national park by an idyllic river.
The instructors and guides are all super friendly and take good care of everyone. Small groups with everyone at the same level.
A must do for anyone who wants to see this beautiful area.

Had a lovely afternoon trek with small group both myself and my partner haven't been riding for 15 years so it was great to get a lovely cob called Dolly who was so sweet and patient the trek went through the valley with amazing views and hills and girls who took us out very good

Fantastic ride with Chloe. A perfect hour spent in the hills.. thank you so much, friendly, knowledgeable and the horses were fab. James, Dolly and Lady were gentle, easy going and fun.

This was the first ride after a 15 year + gap. I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter horse in Dolly or a lovelier trek. Chloe and Lisa were great guides around the stunning scenery. Dolly was so keen and up for every trot and canter. Loved every minute. Would highly recommend these stables.

I came for a morning ride this week and have to say how much I enjoyed it. We were a small group of four riders who were taken out by Chloe and Lilly. They were fantastic, very professional yet friendly being mindful of the horses needs and the needs of us as a group. The scenery was spectacular and the sun shone. The horses were well cared for and forward going. Thank you.

Had a lovely trek, horses were gorgeous; clearly well loved and cared for. Will definitely go again. Husband is very taken with the idea of the full day ride with a pub lunch!
