We visited because we love Black Isle beer! Beautiful location with bees all over the sunny garden outside. The tour was ideal for us - not too long at all and packed with memorable information, and ending with a tasting session of a selection of beers. Love to know this beautiful place exists when enjoying the beers in the future. Beers were available to buy after the tour - including incredibly tasty gluten-free beers!

Went with our family and teenage son. The tour was great, very interesting and was lovely to be able to see the process in action.

Visiting friends in Fortrose and decided to explore a distillery. It was ‘quiet time’ so not open and our friends booked us into the Black Isle Brewery tour with Dina. Brilliant!!! Educational, knowledgable, passionate and hilarious, she gave my husband as good as she got!! Saturday tours with Dina, book now!!?! X

Booked via email for the brewery tour; beyond impressed to find on arrival that it was free. Very knowledgeable member of staff showed us round and tastings were offered of four different beers. We bought a few to take home from the well-stocked shop too- all were lovely! This is a small brewery but is a brilliant example of its craft, with effort made to source local and embracing the circular economy. Hope it goes from strength to strength. Also the BEST zero alcohol beer I’ve ever had. Despite visiting with under 18s they were made to feel included and given a free ice pop which is also notable as many similar establishments simply ignore kids.

Visited today with my husband and had a lovely tour with the very friendly and knowledgeable Dinah. She definitely knew her stuff and was happy to answer questions and chat about the processes. After an enthusiastic recommendation we’ve come home with a case of the organic pale ale which we’re looking forward to sharing. Good choice of products in the shop.

Dropped in to have a look at the beers, and found that a tour was just about to start - so unloaded the family from the car and we all went round the interesting brewery tour. Our eight-month baby's first brewery tour, which she enjoyed. We'll have to come back as my purchases will all have been consumed in the next 17 years 4 months until she is able to try them. Lots of goodies in the shop, so we loaded up with quality T shirts so as to advertise Black Isle around the country. Nicely designed glasses, and the goblet shape mated with a Spider Monkey gives a wonderful taste experience.

Second visit to the Black Isle brewery to stock up. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great selection of beers and merchandise.
Picked up a selection box, fresh tasting 10/10.

Stopped by as we recently moved to the local area. Really decent quality beer, and at a fraction of the price from big brands (tastes better then them too). Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a box. The lady in the shop poured us some tasters so don’t be shy asking to try them out! Favourites are the Porter and pale ale.

En esta fábrica de cerveza ofrecen visitas guiadas de forma gratuita y con cata final. Aunque la visita es bastante corta (el local es reducido) es interesante ver como elaboran su producto. La pequeña cata que ofrecen al acabar permite probar distintos tipos de cerveza y así elegir mejor cuál comprar. La tienda tiene unos precios muy correctos. Merece la pena acercarse si se es aficionado a la cerveza artesana.

We are up at Inverness this weekend and Monday and Tuesday for my husbands 50th birthday looking to do some interesting things and he enjoys making his own home brew any ideas

It's a lovely little place and the beer is great but as a tour of a brewery I would recommend somewhere bigger. For example this tour took 15 minutes or so with small samples whereas my local micro brewery near London takes almost 2 hours and you end up drinking around 4 pints of different ales.
