Easy to find . Great parking. Well organised and helpful staff in attendance .
It would have been perfect to have seen more of the House. It seemed we had no sooner started the tour of the House than it was over.
Enjoyed the food, but a pity was provided by an outside caterer. Reasonably priced.
All the usual gifts at the visitors shop.
Small garden shop which was attached to the restaurant.
Really enjoyed the walk around the estate.
Also very nice to visit the family church - Christmas Day

I visited this week and was so impressed by the changes made since I last visited before covid. There have been some negative comments regarding parking however - this is being put back into the estate and the results are super clear! So few things to mention:
- you can buy tickets online to go into the house + gardens and for parking online the day before you go if you want to save a few quid!
- you get a slotted time to go into the house and gardens now! We booked around 11:45 and couldn’t get in until 12.30. This gave us time to walk around the gardens and courtyard before going into the house
- the house is having the roof fixed so the rooms are more limited than before. This wasn’t a massive issue to us as the ballroom is now a. Exhibition on sustainable fashion which was AMAZING!
- there are audio guides to go around the house (£5) if you want one or you can just speak to the knowledgeable guides in each room who can tell you lots about the rooms!
- there is now a maze which is fab for kids! And benches around the maze and wild garden if you need a sit down from the walk!
- if you are limited for walking - there is a regular pick up point that can drive you to the front of the house also!
- there is a restaurant and pick up food! You can also bring a picnic if you prefer - the is loads of space!
- it’s doggy friendly!
- there Is a great mini golf for older kids so if you don’t go in the house, there’s still space for a lovely picnic, ice cream and visit to the church!
Overall I feel they’ve made some brilliant changes and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

Arrived at one of the two car parks but having pre paid for parking there wasn’t any signs to say what to do just meters asking for payment. Luckily the ticket office young man took our registration number and said not to worry. We were too early to go into the house so we had a wander around the grounds. There are a few different choices of pathways depending upon how much walking you wish to partake of . Nothing much to see except for the occasional grave stone of the late queen’s corgis. Lots of common flowers along the pathways . Eventually we came upon a maze which took all of two minutes to walk through. We went into the house . We felt rushed to keep moving through. In each room a staff member was telling the history of the house and although most of the staff members were friendly one older gentleman appeared grumpy and didn’t seem to want to repeat his speech, we were disappointed with the situation as there was a lot to look at ,but we didn’t feel able to stay for long enough to examine the items . We walked up to and into the church that the family use especially at Christmas time . We spent about 2 1/2 hours there but all in all wasn’t overly impressed with the place. Should be a proper tour of the house in small groups without being rushed . Looked like a great playground for children and a putting green.lots of dog walkers and if I lived locally I would probably walk my dogs on the outside grounds. Glad I went as I love history,castles,palaces etc but I wouldn’t bother going back there.

Expensive £25 per ticket
Only 1 large room available to view which had some strange outfits on mannequins
And one small room which had a table set
Viewing the rooms took all of 5 minutes
The rest of the time was spent in the gardens which were lovely but expensive for what it was
Waste of time and money

The house is lovely and so nice to see where the royal family live. The guides were friendly and informative and answered any questions. The gardens were nice and some of the RFs vehicles were on display. There's a a handy cafe after visiting the house. Finally we visited the church which was lovely. There's lots of opportunity to get refreshments once you've left the house area and a shop and plant sales. All in all a very enjoyable day especially if the sun is shining!

We were disappointed . It was£48 to get in plus £5 for parking .
The house is only a few rooms to view and to be fair the gardens are modest at best and need a lot of work.
Compared to something like the Holkam estate etc we feel it is overpriced and we feel trade’s overly on its name .
We feel there is better value elsewhere .

Lovely day exploring Sandringham!
It was a sunny day and we explored the house and grounds.
We found the staff on the house tour to be knowledgeable and helpful.
The grounds were beautiful and lovely to explore in the sunshine.
Facilities were excellent. Toilet facilities and cafe facilities were aplenty.
Shop was fun to see all the things produced on the estate.
Only shame was that the front had scaffolding ... but that was all.

This was an amazing and beautiful experience, we found the place had a lovely calm atmosphere
We are in the restaurant and the food and service was impeccable
The shop had gorgeous items too and the fact they had a lovely garden shop was a really nice touch
One of the nicest lunch experiences I’ve had in this type of place

Signage completely inadequate (no doubt merely an unobtrusive "gesture") for disabled parking which was still a considerable distance for the overpriced shop and facilities. A pity the (unadvertised) electric buggy service does not provide for this.
House access very limited , therefore poor value, when compared say to say Osborne.

Very nice facilities and the house tour was good - would recommend the audio guide although was a little surprised this was an additional cost

Yes, the nearest train station is King’s Lynn (6 miles approximately), where you can connect to the First bus service.
King’s Lynn is accessible from London (Kings Cross) with an hourly service.

Bookings online are excellent and so easy + your parking is free by doing it online Absolutely no hassle when you get there cause the staff in kiosk are brilliant.

Viewing the 10 ground floor rooms took us about 45 minutes after you collect your audio guide depending on your interests.
