Pete‘s cooking classes are absolutely amazing. We already came twice - once just as a couple for the fish cooking class and once for a family event with eight people where we tried Toscany dishes. Both times were a great experience with lots of interesting insights, helpful tips and tricks and delicious, high quality food. Pete is a great host and a very experienced cook. Can only recommend and will be back!

I absolutely loved my Moroccan Cooking Course with Pete. The location was great with fantastic views, a nice modern, fully equipped kitchen with a great atmosphere. The food we prepared was delicious! Pete gave me all kinds of tips like how to better cut my onions or why chicken on the bone is better to cook with. He has loads of restaurant experience, so he knows what he's talking about! I was amazed that we got five courses done in just three hours and got to eat our creations too! I recommend that everyone come cook with Pete at Urban Cooking.

We went to Urban Cooking in 10 people for my annual team event and we enjoyed it a lot.
Nice informal venue (with terrace with aromatic herbs!), fully professional kitchen, carefully prepared ingredients. We had a lot of variety: in total 2 starters, 3 main and 2 desserts, wine, beer and prosecco. We had one vegan and one allergic to shellfish and all was accommodated for the best.
Pete is an excellent host, careful and friendly but always discreet and professional.
Quality / price very good.
DefinitelY suggest for both personal and professional events.

Peter at Urban Cooking school was great! He had everything ready semi prepped ready for us to start cooking . I can say this was one of the most enjoyable cooking classes I have ever been to. The recipes were tasty and we all worked as a team and had a great night.
Bring a lot of friends as there is a great patio overlooking the lake and a outside fire pit to enjoy your choice of beverage refreshments while cooking and learning new cooking teqniques .I really look forward to also doing the day with the Chef shopping in the Markets.
Also was very nice meeting his mother while she was visiting and helped us with our class.One thing for sure it was an awesome meal and meeting people from all over the world and discussing living in Switzerland and meeting new friends

A very enjoyable 3 hour cooking course covering a complete Italian meal. Peter Hood is a very knowledgeable and experienced chef and he patiently guided me through the entire meal preparation in a well stocked professional kitchen with a nice view of Zurich Lake! Finished with a nice lunch and enough leftovers for 2 additional meals. Planning on attending more courses in the future.

It was really a wonderful experience for me! For sure I can recommend this great school to anyone who enjoys cooking because I learnt so many new things and I just enjoyed every minute of it!
