Go here instead of Capilano Suspension Bridge!! I’d say Lynn Canyon offers the same, if not better walking trails. Suspension Bridge had maybe 5 people when we went, and felt more secure. Offered multiple different treks to go on, beautiful scenery and amazing waterfalls. Dog friendly

So we opted for Lynn Canyon Park and Suspension Bridge instead of the Capilano Park and Suspension Bridge just for the huge price difference. Lynn Canyon is free! I did my homework beforehand and read the reviews and saw pictures of what Lynn Canyon had to offer but let me tell you for the price of free this place is even better in person! The views were amazing and the suspension is great even though it's not as long as the on at Capilano. While the hike through the park is not treacherous I will warn you that there is a lot of stairs to climb which only will get worse the deeper into the canyon you go. Just a pro tip to give you if you're wondering if you, a family member, or friend can handle it.

It's free and gifts you yet another view point of amazing rain forest near Vancouver. Not sure it's worth a drive if traveling on your own, but was a welcomed stop on the tour.

amazing bridge and unbelievable views. highly recommend going if you are in the Vancouver area. you can hike just the bridge part or do as much or as little as you want on the other gorgeous trails

Very beautiful place for hiking, the suspension bridge is really worth seeing and it's also free to visit. There is a shop for grab a bite and washroom also.

We went to support Tigres de la UANL in their Concacaf match and the truth is Beautiful Vancouver, its Naturals is wonderful and that Smell of pine that always seems to be Christmas there, Beautiful😍

Small but free. Packed with tourists on a nice day so it”s impossible to enjoy. Can”t get a photo without strangers in it. Should require a ticket.

FREE, as opposed to the highly-developed Capilano Bridge park area. We visited both. Totally different vibe. Lynn Canyon was much less traveled and thus much quieter. We enjoyed our hike here.

The Lynn Canyon bridge is not as large or touristy as Capilano Bridge but given the fact that it's free, it's a well worth a visit. The trails are well maintained and there is a crystal clear swimming area easily accessible even for children. Very clean and modern facilities are also available. Hint- if you don't find parking at the top parking lot, then drive to the lower lot.

This gem of a park had a number of hiking trails of various lengths and difficulties. Due to time we did the shortest one but plenty of steps to climb and views plus the suspension bridge.
As we arrived early evening, the visitor centre was closed so can't comment.

If you go to the trail around rice lake- it’s a different parking lot- the trails through there are very flat and wide. I saw a few wheel chairs going around parts of rice lake.

Is there shorter hiking to bring toddlers? I saw some people saying 2 min walk, and others saying 15 min walk.

You’ve probably been and gone by now. But you can access the bridge from two sides. One walk is about 15 minutes and the other is a couple minutes. As noted the bridge is very wobbly and you need both hands to hold on. The longer walk would be tough on a toddler because of the stairs going done to the water.

Crystal's View Bed & Breakfast would be the closest accommodation to that location that is also cost effective and more central to other hot spots. If you'd like more of a budget, you can check out airbnb for home stays.
If you don't mind the higher prices, I'd take the recommendation of staying downtown and transit to the location, so you can stay more central to downtown (if that's your thing). If you prefer nature and wilderness over urban core city, then you're better to stay on the north shore.
