Favorite place to bike along the water, past farms, boathouse, forest and wildlife. Mostly fine gravel. Bears are always a possibility.

The trail around 25 Km , fantastic place for family hiking , walking with the dogs , and cycling , you need less five hours to enjoyed the beautiful landscape , includes : Pitt River , Fraser River , Colony Farm , Hyde Greek and many many more interesting stop , the trail well maintenance , very safe and grave also some area is paved , best start early , lot of starting point , I find the best location is Lion's Park in port Coquitlam . Surprised the trail not crowed at all , very relax !

Always an enjoyable walk. A flat surface for easy walking, A handy parking spot and easy trail to Colony Farm.

It is one of the popular biking trail in mainland ,very safe ,scenic ,smooth ,it is a excellent fun day for the family ,and the trail have so many starting points ,and sky train accessible !

This trail takes you around the perimeter of the city where you’ll encounter paved, gravel and dirt trails. You’ll also follow the river through a densely populated forest. Most visits you’ll see wildlife too. Bear, deer, many varieties of birds etc. Absolutely love this!

With my wife, and two boys of 8 and 5., we start at 1:30pm from Colony farm and heading south at Citadel river side... Spent total of 7 hours to finish the Traboulay-Poco trail. If you like you can stretch it even longer and fully enjoy all kinds of different experiences along the trail.
There are so many places worth to stop and to enjoy the water and snack break. We had the first long break at the MacDonald nearby Costco, fully recharged, then back to the trail. Finally, wrapped our day trip at Poco Downtown's well known ice cream shop :). Motivated by Junk food and cones of icy sweets, plus the road trip fun, the boys never got bored.
It is definitely one of the few highlights of my 2020!

I've walked various parts of this trail three times. Always something different. The trip around the city includes various vistas, but is always flat, and I have yet to find a narrow area where passing others was difficult. You can plan your trip in segments, or simply do different sections on different weekends. Walk or bike - this is a workout!

Love biking riding and walking our dog here. Only wish there was a clean, water fountain along the path as in the summer it gets super hot along this path so if you don't have any water with you, your a long way from being able to access any. The river so alongside can't be drank. Watch out for parks people, they will give you a hard time if your dog isn't on leash which really makes no sense in a park this size. Dogs should be able to run freely and cool off in the water if they can.

I am a fan of photograph, so I often take different entrances to walk along with this trail to take photos, such sceneries,birds,etc. Very very beautiful place to visit.

April 2020, is the section in colony farms closed still? Is it still under construction?

The construction is still there. When you get to that section, just follow the path along Pitt River road till it comes to Lougheed highway. The trail goes west for a little bit then bends to the south back along the west side of the Coquitlam river. You cross the Millenium bridge and you're back on the original trail heading toward the Mary Hill bypass.
