We apologize for the missed opportunity to assist you on your recent visit to Campbell River. We are happy to hear that you were able to visit some of the local shops in the area. Operational hours historically reduce in the fall, due to decreasing numbers of visitors, this year due to the way the stat landed we were closed for the entirety of the weekend. We lose our seasonal and part-time staff in the fall, creating a smaller team for Visitor Services. This closure was the first time our limited staff had any time off after the high season. We do our best to accommodate the public and visitors and watch stats to inform our hours of operations. Our Visitor Centre social channels are monitored, if you find yourself in this scenario again at any Destination please reach out via those channels, as someone is always there to listen and assist.
