Always a nice place to go. There are new animals that we do not know about until we see them at the zoo. Always well maintained.

What a disappointment to see this park lose its soul without the kindness of its big-hearted guardians. Unfortunately, it is the animals that suffer the most.
Who would want to work for a manager who dares to publicly denigrate his employees in the media when he always asks for their help with the transfer of animals because he cannot go beyond the law?
Apparently the shame doesn't keep him awake, but the loss of profit on the backs of visitors could.
I therefore invite you to boycott this park until respect and humanity are shown.
Talk about it around you and show that a surge of solidarity can still make a difference!
Let's support the caretaker team, support animal welfare!

Delightful visit to Granby Zoo .. easy border crossing, ample parking, very clean, and decently natural settings (given that it is Quebec and the animals are from very different places around the world). Visual access is good there was good shade available.

Employers make no sense, they put their employees on work stoppage and so the animals no longer have the good care they had by the zoo employees and in this way the animals wither little by little unfortunately, do not go there until the zoo has reinstated all their employees.. Go to Miller Zoo, they're much more human.

Everything was perfect. Apart from the locked out staff who tried to intimidate us when we arrived in the morning. I want to say that even without these staff we have not seen much difference in services. Everything we needed was available! We will definitely go back

This zoo used to be great, and we've come back year after year, but after last week's experience, we won't be back. Before deciding to purchase tickets during our holidays, we noted that there was a strike. On their website however, they protested that nothing would change, and that the animals and service to customers would remain the same. We noticed a couple of days later, that their prices jumped from $99 to $139 per person for a membership. Annoyed, we purchased anyway since we made plans and the websitw assured us of no change. When we visited, we noticed quite a few things amiss. Most of the interactive experiences were closed. This was a big deal for us because this has always been the most special part of our trips. Looking into the Ray Bay that was cordoned off, it looked terrible, the water quality looked very dirty compared to other years. Surprised, we asked if it would be up and running the next day. A young employee gave me a muttered, "I don't know". I get it, they're on strike, but we were frustrated that the website stated otherwise. We moved on. Then, the bird feeding was closed. You couldn't even walk into the bird enclosure. After walking through the continent of "Africa", we noted that the building with the interactive museum was closed as well. Upon reaching the camel ride area, that wasn't available either. Our son was finally old enough to ride it and was so looking forward to it. On top of all that, there was no potable water. You couldn't refill your water bottles, or get any fountain drinks, including coffee! While they had beer available starting at $9 per can, they had no coffee available. Finally on the 4th day, coffee was made available and the water was back on. We noticed on the 2nd day that they had more than 1, but maybe no more than 2 "water refill stations" for the whole park, including the water park (Amazoo) side. Don't even get me started on their line ups. 45 mins when we were 3rd in line. Every single time. Finally, they had closed the water park's main entrance which forced us ALL the way through the zoo. This was a huge hike for a 4 year old, and after days of walking. Again, this came as a surprise and we would have come with our own stroller instead of renting one every day for $15 p.day. Despite all of this, we made the most of our trip and decided we would call later and discuss our experiences with customer service. We had hoped that after a day or two things would resolve and we could experience what we had paid for. But in the end we called customer service and after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I spoke with someone who said with contempt, "well, you accepted the terms when you purchased the memberships which include them being non-refundable". After interrupting me many times, I reminded her what was written on the website and she actually said, "we never wrote that". I don't know how to argue with lies, so I said, well I'm not lying, and we just watched the news and you guys were saying the same thing. She responded that they can't comment on the news and it actually has nothing to do with them. I was in disbelief. I still am. I said, how can you, after hearing our experience, not offer us anything? And I even said, your website is now offering $10 off each ticket purchaser because of the missing activities. She said, no, that's only for day pass holders, not members. They can't help that they're here during the strike. I said, we drove 12 hours to get here because your website provided false advertisement. She said, I can give you my supervisor's number. This was after she already spoke with said supervisor. I said, wow, I'm honestly in shock at your apathy. She said finally, I can give you $10 towards your next purchase. I replied that we wouldn't come back based on this experience and $10 felt like a slap against the just under $500 price tag. Maybe if they treat their customers, staff and animals better, they might see a turnaround but we'll spend our money on better places in Granby, like the Parc au Diable vert, and Parc Safari.

We were a party of 3 seniors, two of which have mobility impairments. We rented an electric vehicle and a standard wheel chair. They don't advertise that EVs are available and they only have 2 to rent so if you need an EV get there early. The terrain was mostly flat or gentle slopes so a manual wheel chair was OK. Grab bars in the rest rooms were not always present. Exhibits are well done and it is clear that they adhere to best practices for animal care. They have a strong emphasis on conservation and you can learn a lot about how the animals in their care live in the wild. The food in the food court was awful-bring your own lunch as there are lots of picnic areas.

No access information, gates like for a World Cup soccer final with no one waiting.
15 to 20 minutes to reach the swimming area, as they closed the other entrance to the Amazon site without notice.
My child had forgotten in the car his swimsuit, so 20 min went / 20 min return then another 20 min to return to the starting point.
In short horrible experience, before it took 2 min walk today I advise everyone not to take a subscription it is useless and you will be treated worse than a regular customer.

Very disappointed….
Depressed animals
Dying of boredom at the water park which at the start of the season doesn't even allow you to go to the
Zone of
Wave pool, employees impossibly slow to serve you,
No entertainment on campus, overpriced in all areas.
I do not recommend in any way.

A Zoo at night, very nice experience.
Zoo exclusive, perfect accompaniment, perfect little cabin, 2 meals, snacks, campfire.
