Dear friends from all across the world. Our ten year run of GLIMPSES came to an end with an amazing final performance in Lunenburg on September 9th 2017. Over 17000 wonderful people have watched the performances throughout the Summer months and hopefully will always hold a little bit of Lunenburg County in their hearts forever. Please accept the heartfelt thanks from all our cast and crew for supporting GLIMPSES throughout it's 10 year history. Our thanks also go to TripAdvisor for giving people a chance to rate this unique show with a continuous Five Stars.

This was truly worth it. It is through donations only, and first come first serve. However, the songs and the troupe members made the show! A great cast with original songs. Even someone not familiar with the history of the area can be entertained.

An evening of original entertainment cleverly depicting the history of Lunenburg. For ten years this show has been presented twice a week during July and August. The performers have always given their all in the show with lots of energy and passion. Thank you to all these performers for sharing your talent and for passing along the money raised from donations to very worthy causes. On Sept. 9, with the gala presentation, we bid farewell to the performers of Glimpses. You will be greatly missed.

So happy we had the chance to see delightfully entertaining glimpses into the character and history of Lunenburg county through skits, stories, music, slide show, costumes and humour! This troupe packs and pokes a lot of fun and feeling into an hour and a half. We were very impressed with the talent, original music, narrative and overall show. Sadly, it's in its last year with only three shows left, so hurry to get your "Glimpse". Arrive early as it fills up fast.

What an enjoyable evening. The story of Lunenburg in story and song. Well acted by a talented, enthusiastic cast of local actors. You can easily see why it has been a hit at the Fisheries Museum in Lunenburg for 10 years. We can understand the cast and crew wanting a rest after all these years, but it is a shame that this is the last season for Glimpses. Try to see it before it closes the 2nd week of Sept. You won't be sorry you took the time.

Had a wonderful time enjoying Glimpses this week. The actors are very professional and we laughed so much! Great way to learn some Lunenburg history. Not to be missed.

So funny and so well performed. The cast often gets up close to the audience, they can sing, stories are very engaging and pretty much true. I wish history had been taught this way back in school! Too bad this is the last season, we will miss it!

So glad I had the opportunity to watch Glimpses. Laughed for an hour and half straight while being educated on local history. The cast was so energetic and passionate. A must see!

An hour and 45min of straight fun and musical entertainment! Lunenburg history shared through a timeline of songs and humorous enactments. Just leave a donation at the door and enjoy yourself. No other show around quite like it.

Wonderful theater production with vignettes, songs, music all with video playing in the background. All about the history and people of Lunenburg. Wonderful production. A must see. They said this is the last season but hopefully they will be back!

Personally I have no idea. I have rented a cottage in the area during summer for ten of the past twelve years. I would have loved to have seen this show. I can only assume it was poorly advertised for one reason or another. I heard nothing about it until now.

There is no contact number for Glimpses since they present in the theatre room of a museum (Fisheries Museum in Lunenburg) and not in one that has a box office. The shows will begin July 7 and happen every Tuesday and Thursday into September. Show starts at 7:30 unless they have a full theatre (about 100). Then they will start when it is full, so they suggest getting there before 7 to make sure you can get seats. There are no reservations nor tickets, since entrance is by donation. (They support a different charity every year.) To find the show, go to Bluenose Drive (at the waterfront) and go up the stairs that take you to the Fish Factory restaurant. Then follow the signs up one floor to the theatre. Have fun.

Shows start July 7, 2015 and run every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 until September 10th, 2015. Best to arrive at the Theatre early as seating is limited. See you there !!
