Fun place to visit when in town. lots of variety of beer to try. i came quite late so didn't have lots of time to look around but will definitely come back to enjoy the place more.

We have been patrons of the brewery since it opened it doors and during COVID-19 we continued to pop in and purchase items and support one of our favorite breweries. When it was allowed to open up the tasting room we were there to support them.
When we arrived there was only a couple other customers so we asked and they said sit anywhere as the tables were very close together...they had not spaced them out at all. As we sat there more people started coming in and we noticed that they did not give any direction on spacing or where to sit. The staff did not wear masks, there was no plexi glass shields put in place at the cashier, there was no attempt to social distance in the line up to pay or where customers sat, when the server brought beer to our table of 2 she chose the closest worst position to approach...she came between us leaned down to put the beer on the table and stuck her face so close to ours and she did not wear a mask...we had to pull away ...we were very disgusted.
There were no precautions put in place... nothing.... a covid out break waiting to happen but since they did not take any info from any patrons they would not be able to warn thier clients of any potential exposure. Thier lack of putting in any precautions to protect thier customers is very disappointing. We have not gone back ... the risk of exposre to COVID-19 for a beer is not worth it....there are plenty of other breweries we can go to that take our health and wellnes seriously.

This brewery doesn't do tours anymore but they have great beers as well as spirits. They have a food truck outside, food is tasty. Staff has always been great! Occasionally they also do beer tasting events and they are great. The one thing I love is you don't have a $50 entrance fee to buy beer at the event. We have always had a great time. The events I have attended they ran a free shuttle (you should give a tip to driver) from skytrain.

Central City Brewers was a good place to meet for lunch and drinks. The food was good, the service was good, the beer was also good. I graded it as average because it could have been any restaurant that served good food and beer.
The location is quite handy as it's at the edge of a mall and across the street from the skytrain station.
I will go back since it was good! ;-)

Thank you to Matt, General Manager @ Central City Distillery and Brewery, for the fantastic and highly personalized tour @ Central City Distillery yesterday. We appreciated your deep passion for the products and process. Loved sampling the different brews and spirits. The Queensborough Gin was already a personal favorite, but the Chocolate Malt Whisky turned about to be a surprised hit. Actually almost everything I sampled impressed me greatly--even the vodka which is crisp and direct. the lightly peated whisky shall make a great Canada Day tipple. Highly recommend the tour and hang out in the tasting room after.

Visited here with our friends from Ontario. We did not have time for the tour, but I have been here when they are giving tours and it is worth the time and effort. You can learn how quality craft beers and spirits are made. They also have a tasting bar and will give a few small samples if you ask. Visiting here is a must for Craft beer lovers and I believe their Gin is one that all of Canada can be proud of. Try the IPA and the Imperial IPA if you are a "Hop Head", like me. (Hop Head's love very hoppy beers)

This is a bit more upscale than the taprooms we usually like to visit. It's a shiny new showroom filled with t-shirts and other souvenirs, plus there is a spirits sampling room at one end. Still, there is an impressive number of beers on tap and it's a comfortable place to hang out. We recently visited here in the gap between a wedding ceremony and the reception. A gang of 8 of us commandeered a bunch of chairs and tables and just hung out until it was time to leave. The staff never bothered us and we were very comfortable there. No food is served, so bring your own snacks! We've always liked Red Racer beer but it was nice to be able to sample some of Central City's other offerings.

Red Racer is one of my favourite brews. Especially like the Pale Ale, IPA, the Session Ale in the summer. Service needs to improve. No one smiles. Much better service on Brewers Row in Port Moody.

Great selection of beer from all over Vancouver, and many imports. Tried 3 different stouts & enjoyed all 3. Didn't get a chance to eat, but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable on their beer. Great spot if you're looking for a great selection of different beers
