My husband and i stopped in at Elements casino surrey thursday dec.29th 2022 not busy at all... quite quiet actually. we arrived about 330pm . played couple slots then husband got us a beer each. we proceeded to play the tightest slots ever..like always...i then went got us a 2nd beer each..we proceeded to play trying to find a slot that actually gave a bonus...we played a little longer..and decided to leave with what little money we had left .....the time was aprox .900 p.m..note the time frame..we were there for aprox. 5 hours..and we are 56 and 60 yrs.old not young people...upon leaving ..there was 3 security people who literally stopped us at exit..like going thru a security check and proceeded to ask us who was driving..i looked at them ALL (all 3 east indian) we are caucasian..and said i am WHY?..they proceeded to insinuate that my husband was drunk and better not drive..i couldnt
believe my ears..my husband is a retired police officer and has always obeyed laws etc....and i think 2 beers over a 5 hour period is more sufficient time...my point is ..since when do the security play police or sobriety police..so RUDE...i will NEVER go back to that casino...we play at alot of them and spend alot of money but we will never go back to elements in surrey...horrible experience...and we will make sure we tell others our experience.
I am not one of these people who cry racism....but really is this one that i could..because i dont see any reason why... they...targeted us..and perhaps others.
NEVER WILL BE BACK.

I found out how important i am to Cloverdale staff. On Sept 14 evening, I and another slot player were fed up with the horrible noise from the new shark tank game.
THE VOLUME IS ALWAYS TURNED UP HIGH AND CUSTOMERS HAVE DIFFICULTY WITH THE VOLUME CONTROL
The two slot employees and a supervisor stood there while i screamed for them to turn the machine down. There was a complete "NO "I WON'T TURN IT DOWN.
The other customer said the same. I spoke with the front desk. NO INTERESTED !!
I threw my card on the floor and told them they just lost my wife and the other customers business --NEVER TO RETURN !!

This Casino has re-opened after Covid restrictions has been lifted. We had a short wait to enter this facility as the do a traceability check for each person & limited capacity allowed. Slots are spaced with plexiglass between each machine. Masks are mandatory & Zero play time, won't be back for a while!!

Breakfast & lunch menu items are served on Sundays. Expensive but tasty. Decadent self serve desserts are many. As a pair we were seated way up high ! Great view of the track but a nightmare for my partner who has sciatica! Multitudinous stairs were daunting! In years gone by, we always sat on the main level! Perhaps I neglected to request that when I made reservations? I had to ask a server for the buffet wrist bands as I was doubtful that anyone was going to serve us on Mount Everest ! Too few servers for the crowd that had assembled for the Harness Racing on this day!
If you struggle to see the horses out the window , every table has a tv monitor to watch the race unfold! Apart from the scary stairs it was a most enjoyable afternoon!

be careful here, on many visits no customers,, loosen machines as they are a joke. floor service poor for drinks and machine attent people

My review is only about the buffet portion. My wife and I have eaten here several times and found the prime rib buffet to be prepared well and overall a good value. However, Saturday is seafood day and I won't be returning when their feature is seafood. The seafood consisted of baked salmon, a cod dish and mussels. Both fish dishes were bland and overcooked. The mussels were similar. Side dishes. Meh.

Thank you Elements for helping to make our first ever Gala a Huge Success ! Jeremy Hawkins was fantastic to work with he made everything flow seamlessly anyone hosting an event I highly recommend Elements Casino to you! The staff were fantastic the venue room it is beautifully done inside our guests loved their dinner! Jacquie and I are grateful for your support in helping us raise funds for the Cloverdale Communtity Kitchen!

Attached to the Elements Casino is harness racing (which only operates on selected days). If you're a table player be aware that the roulette table has recently moved to a new location. We found the slots rather during this visit (September 2019). There is more than ample off street parking.

This casino is large. Very nice that it is all on one floor.they have daily food specials, tho we never ate their. All the reviews were very good. I'm into penny machines and they have lots.
