Very special morning ride. Professional outfit so felt very safe after not having ridden for a number of years. Well behaved horses with some attitude. Highly recommended.

This is the 4th time I have ridden at TVHR and it's best !! Great, helpful and experienced crew that make you feel safe. The horses are quiet, sure footed. The views are amazing

Visited TVHR for an hour and a half trail ride whilst on a chilled retreat to the Crackenback area. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The team there take great care of the horses and know their personalities inside-out. As someone with very rudimentary horse riding skills, they did a great job of explaining the basics in an easy to learn manner. Following this, the hour and a half trail ride through the valley was beautiful, relaxing and a great way to take in the sights rather then walking or cycling. Would definitely go back.

Always wanted to do a trail ride & it was on my to-do list for my 50th birthday. Myself & my daughter are novice riders & booked the hour session. The start of the lesson was very informative explaining instructions on directing the horse, introducing our horse & their personality. I rode Gangster & my daughter was on Dude. Such beautiful natured horses, well groomed & amazing instructors. Thanks Linda, Neville & team for a truly memorable experience.

This is the best horse riding establishment I have ever visited, and I have ridden since I was a child in the UK and Australia. The staff are so professional, safety is paramount and the horses are well trained, super responsive, well cared for and loved. I cannot recommend highly enough. I rode a full blood brumby named Digger through beautiful scenery in Australia’s High Country - what a dream for the little girl who grew up on the other side of the world reading about the Silver Brumbies of the Snowy Mountains. I will definitely be back.

If you are travelling to Thredbo this is an not to be missed. Wonderful countryside, great people, safe horses and well run business. Horses are extremely well cared for and the staff mindful of customers concerns or fears. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Highly recommend for all ages and riding experience.

This was a great introduction to horse riding, with a one hour trail ride. There were many guides with us, making sure the horses behaved themselves, which settled the nerves of the first time riders. The horses were well behaved and we were given a great introductory lesson beforehand to ensure we were comfortable with guiding our horses. While they didn't recommend taking a camera on the ride, as your hands should be focused on holding the reigns, they made sure they brought out our camera at the end to get a family photo. Very friendly people, who obviously take good care of their horses.

A wonderful ride through the Snowy Mountains at the foot of the Crackenback Range. As a horse owner, going to a trail riding establishment can be a little like a busman's holiday. Not here. The area surrounding TVHR is both challenging and rewarding.
They have many riding packages available to suit all levels of capability from lead rope pony rides to escorted private rides. Nev and Linda take time matching the horse to the rider's ability.
We chose a 2 hr trail ride which went through open paddocks and up and down challenging bush tracks. The area had received a lot of rain over summer and the ground was quite muddy in places - particularly on descent tracks. The horses knew exactly what to do at all times and I was very comfortable even in the most slippery parts of the track. The guides were all very skilled and helped the less experienced riders where necessary, without being too overbearing.
We will be returning again. I hope to book a private ride next time and explore more of this beautiful area.

This place was great! The horses are so well looked after and the lady that owns them genuinely loves them! she told us “their background stories “ and what they liked and didn’t like.
The ride was through beautiful countryside. we were lucky and ended up on a private tour as no one else had booked in! There was 3 guides out with us so everyone was very well looked after and was able to ride to their ability.
Great experience and great value for money!

Well I left with heartfelt tears in my eyes. What an amazing experience. 1 hour of horse riding on the back of an incredible horse STRIPE with my 10 year old daughter Scarlett riding SWEETIE. We left the tribe at our sensational accommodation and had time to make memories together. The staff were so patient and extremely capable. We felt safe and in experienced hands. Whether you've been riding for years or the years have past you by, more than 20, the training will leave you feeling like you've been doing it forever. Thank you so very much unforgettable experience and brilliant memory maker. Xc
