Great cinema showing a mix of popular and less mainstream films. Comfy seats. Hot drinks in mugs rather than the waste of disposables. Friendly staff. Busy last night when we visited.

Great cinema. Live locally and go as often as possible. Great selection of films both mainstream and indie. Tickets and a drink for approx £10, can’t beat it for value.

This great 3 screen independent cinema has reopened after the Covid crisis with a variety of old movies prior to lockdown and then with new releases
Limited capacity
Booking advised but it is great to have this cinema back - support the locally independently run cinema with great friendly staff

A fantastic local cinema with friendly staff and comfy seats inside the screens. Both tickets and snacks are much more reasonably priced than at other cinemas in Bristol, and it is a great facility for both the local community and visitors to Bristol.

This is a great little and small 3 screen cinema
1) Polite staff
2) Friendly staff
3) 3 screens for 90 - 110 people
4) Up to date releases
5) bookings can be made either in person or through their website (charge applies for the later)
6) Prices are reasonable £5.75 (more for 3 D) -
7) Cheap day Mondays
8) Other discounts available
9) Silver screen on a Tuesday (and includes a coffee I believe)
10) Kids screenings on a weekend
11) local well supported cinema
12) Drinks and snacks available
13) Bookings will be needed for more popular films
14) Pub opposite to make a special occasion of it
15 ) Many other pluses
16) The number 2 goes past this
17) Reserved seating
There are drawbacks - no on site parking - Waitrose limits it during the day and closes at 9 pm!! So parking locally
It is unlikely to be disabled friendly due to the flight of steps

We love this smaller cinema. It’s so welcoming and you can even have a mug of tea whilst watching a film. It’s reasonably priced which means we can go to the cinema as a family. They also seem to often have the bigger films we want to see with our teenagers. It’s like cinemas used to be, more family orientated, but also has been tastefully upgraded. Why go anywhere else?

It was like someone's front room! Very small, seats high back, but very low.
Had to move back to the higher Seats to get a better view. Reasonable price.
Can use Meerkat movies Tuesday's and Wednesday's. Ticket also gives a discount

Why bother to drive out to Cribbs or any other big cinema if you can see the same thing on your doorstep? There is no compromise on space or comfort, there are plenty of good food options and a decent sound system. It isn't expensive. Add the friendly staff and intimate nature of this local cinema and it presents a strong case for itself!

The Orpheous cinema is above the Waitrose store in Henleaze, I believe that this car park has restrictions on parking during the day when the store is open and has extended opening hours which has been the case for a few years now - check on the signs in the car park but it may be Ok for later viewings.
There is plenty of off street parking in neighbouring streets but bewrned it is a residential area so please be considerate
The number 2 bus stops just outside and many other buses go past the "White Tree Roundabout" which is a 5 minute walk away and goes in the centre of Bristol or Cribbs Causeway
