Fantastic show and night out, funny from start to finish with amazing magic. Pizzas were on point too, I’d highly recommend that people see this show

Quirky venue and a very funny show! Wasn't sure what to expect but very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend.

Exceeded expectations - very good show. My fiance and I thoroughly enjoyed it as a spontaneous date night.
Magician in the bar was also a great touch which we enjoyed, as well as the live music after the show.
Only negatives were that the drinks were slightly off (Guinness and Heineken), and it seemed better value to buy from Groupon rather than direct from S&M.
Would definitely recommend and would go again for another show.

We had an amazing visit to the Comedy & Magic show - from the table magician wandering around the pub to begin, to the excellent views from the small room where the show was held, to the quality and consistency of the magic. Such great value (with the drink and pizza included) and would thoroughly recommend. If you do go be aware guests are given a buzzer seated in arrival order so if you want to be at the front - be early! - but all seats had a great view as the stage is quite high and there are only 25-30 seats I would guess.

This was our first visit to Smoke and Mirrors, and it definitely won't be our last! We had a fabulous evening - the house magician doing close up magic was really good, and was a great way to start the night. It was a sign of the high quality magic we were about to experience throughout the night, with Jaimie doing many impressive slight of hand and misdirection tricks right in front of us. Once it was time for the main show to begin, we were called through (although we nearly didn't as we had forgotten to register with the staff that we had arrived - make sure you do otherwise you won't be called through!), and were sat down at a table in a very cosy room - a really intimate gig but it enhanced the experience for us and made it feel really personal which was nice. Marc was fantastic and certainly knew what he was doing. We really enjoyed the show, and the show put on the guest performer of the night too. It never felt awkward or stilted, and we were made to feel welcome in the pub and for the show. Thanks for a great night and we hope to return soon!

Best night out in bristol without question. My kids 18 and 15 are still talking about it a week later. Well done guys

Amazing pre-show magician, good pizza, nothing to much trouble, would definitely recommend, fantastic night, everyone felt comfortable through the show & we were looked after, 10 out of 10 & thanks to Crazy Steve, what a magic night.

We had the Wowcher offer for 2 x tickets, one pizza, 1 x fries and 2 x Prosecco for £26 and we’re really pleased.
Upon entry, we were asked if we were happy to sit right at the front; we therefore did have a little bit of interaction with the magicians on stage which was nice but they were very good in general at including lots of people from the audience (however, if you’re painfully shy then this may not be for you). The act itself was really funny, if not a bit silly, but a lovely way to spend just over an hour. Our pizza, the mushroom and truffle was really tasty but it is very small, and especially so for two, so if you’re there for dinner then I’d order another pizza and fries!
Overall a nice time at a pretty good price!

Have visited previously and loved the show so couldn’t wait to return with other family members who were suitably impressed. Mark was a great host, magician and entertainer who delivered an amazing introduction and cracking second half - an upcoming act was bit nervous but happy to support. The pizza and chips offer has improved since last visit. Definitely a unique and thoroughly entertaining evening in Bristol

Brilliant fun evening with my husband for his birthday, the magic was amazing and comedy complimented it perfectly, will definitely be going again, highly recommend

Can drinks be purchased during the show or only at the interval?

Hi Brendan, Smoke & Mirrors is also a Pub which has a secret theatre and the bar is open from 3pm, once the show has started we advise not getting up and down as this causes disruption during the show, each performance is around 45mins long, so grab a couple of drinks for the first half, you can also order more drinks for the interval and these will be ready for the break, we have tables in the theatre so you can eat and drink during the shows.

7 is a perfect age we do allow younger but he will get some of the humour especially when the magicians use Dad in one of the tricks. Hope to see you at our show
