A nice bit of green space. We arrived in Cambridge on a very hot July evening, and everyone was enjoying the warm weather, having a drink or kicking a football about. There was also a Ferris wheel but it didn't seem to go round while we where there. Our hotel room at the Cambridge University Arms Hotel was overlooking it too.

Great for frisbee. Could do with some pull up bars if you ask me. Lovely in the summer but very busy, and not too bad in the winter :)

Impressive space! Whenever I come to Cambridge I am overwhelmed by the spaciousness, the colour and the flavour of that immense space. I love being there!

A nice green walk through well manicured lawns with lots of sporting facilities including football pitches. Parker's Piece is also reputed to be the birthplace of the rules of football. There’s even a monument called the Cambridge Rules Sculpture or Cambridge Rules 1848, to commemorate the aforementioned genesis of the world's most popular game. There was a ferris wheel when we visited, good time to visit.

Cambridge should be proud of this large open space right in the centre. There was a ferris wheel there when i was there. I doubt if it's always there but I don'know.for sure.
plenty of pathways to find your way across and enough space for anybody to have some alone time if needed.
if i was to suggest any improvements, it would be to add more seating but maybe the locals like it unspoilt.

We walked through here behind the shops/restaurants on Regent St. Very pleasant piece of greenery, but there were groups of boys drinking, making a lot of noise & throwing their cans etc all around the benches when there were litter bins withing 50m & this was at about 17.30
