Popped in here for a relaxed beer this afternoon. This place has such a relaxing vibe that I could have happily spent the day just sipping some beers and reading. I had two kids and a puppy though so that wasn't an option but we had a nice hour here nonetheless. Super welcoming, lovely people.

What a great blend.
This lovely pub offers a great selection of books to buy but once you have done this you can sit and relax and enjoy an excellent well kept real or craft ale.
There is a good gin selection too and cider.
There are also some outside seating ears when the sun is.
Be careful you do not miss it as it is hidden off the high street.

Featured in the Good Pub Guide and Good Beer Guide. Atmospheric and eclectic. A good 5.9% real ale. A must return when visiting Falmouth. Doggy friendly obviously. It's Cornwall!🇬🇧🇳🇿

I am not against dogs but I chose a nice comfy seat but before we got to sit down a couple with a dog sat down and the dog was encouraged to sprawl out on the covered seat, anyone walking in when the couple had gone would have been unaware that a dog had been sprawled all over it, although hairs everywhere and smelly would have been a good sign.No sign about dogs not allowed on furniture. Tables dirty, lots of beer flies. Unlikely to return as beer also poor. Needed a good clean.

Very quirky pub/bookshop. Selection of alcohol free. Lady who served us was very friendly. Lovely atmosphere.

Thought the concept was fascinating but that I didn't quite get it. I loved both the book selection and the prices. I quite liked the pub too (shame they sold out of the one non alcoholic beer on tap, as it feels so much more special when you have a non-alcoholic option poured in front of you). I didn't find the person serving me very friendly. There seemed a disconnect between the bar and the books- maybe on certain evenings it isn't like that (when there is a talk for example). Unfortunately, as a visitor on holiday I only got to experience it once.

A great selection of beers and ciders paired with a used book shop - a perfect place to stop for a drink and to do some reading.

Been in here on a few occasions now and I can honestly say it's a proper hidden Gem...up an alley it's easily missed.
A fantastic array of beers and all manner of drinks awaits the thirsty scholar!!! Great staff, great atmosphere a genuine and different place to visit.

A bar/pub/book store with a twist. A very quirky modern day venue with a rusty independent twist. Unusual selection of drinks gives this place a different stamp compared to main stream pub venues. Seemed very popular with the younger/student crowd and can see why it’s popular as it does offer something a little different to the norm. Bravo

I had been very excited to make a visit to beerwolf after discovering it on a video about Falmouth, it was described as a hidden gem with a book shop attached for you to relax with a book and a glass of wine … maybe I had romanticised this a little too much in my mind… it was not what I was expecting, albeit it was a rainy Sunday afternoon so it may well be different in the week when people are back in uni, but it was packed, incredibly noisy and the book shop appeared to be THE place for people to have deep ,personal conversation with their partners while stroking each other, leaving me feeling very awkward to the point I didn’t really have chance to look through the books which is why I went in the first place. The gentleman behind the bar was interesting, I couldn’t make out if he was rude and sarcastic or just very dry and to the point , just don’t ask for “normal milk” in your coffee , it didn’t go down well with him as “they don’t do dairy” ! I felt like I’d been told off by a teacher .
