Great pub with pure wet sales. 10 real ales on. Had a couple which were excellent. Great to be able to bring your own food in. The food from upstairs (Harbour Lights) is ok but a bit pricey. There are other fish and chip places in Falmouth which are better.

Our kid's place while we were in Falmouth for 5 days. Total relaxed place both inside but also outside if the weather is for it. Very cozy place with good atmosphere and guests are in the mature end, good service in the bar, and the place has several exciting beers and there can be bought wine. You have to take your take away and eat it on site.

A truly great English pub. Thought it was about time to review the Front as this was going to be our last visit to Falmouth after many holidays spent there. Okay, it’s not the best looking place with a ad-hoc looking interior, but that is nothing to the ambience and atmosphere of the place. The choice of the real ales is mouth watering and when the sun shines, one can sit outside and admire the huge cruise ships which dock across the harbour. We have spent many hours in the place and would like to pay tribute to all the people who have served there over the years. Thank you all.

Visited most recently April 2024, I always visit when I’m in Falmouth. It’s a friendly, unpretentious pub. The staff were all friendly and polite and the prices fair. The cask selection is super, with 10 ales on the bar when I visited. Ranging from light ales in the mid 3’s ABV through to stronger ones, including 2 stout options. The quality of the beer was first rate. I really like that you can take your fish and chips in there from next door and enjoy with your pint. One of the many good pubs in Falmouth, but most likely my favourite all-rounder.

This pub showcases the best the area has to offer in both real and craft beers with all styles and tastes catered to.
There is also a good selection of ciders which is perfect for the area.
The pub offers a full bar selection on top of this with plenty of seating outside.
As they do not do food they are happy for you to bring your food in with you and there is a great fish and chip shop next door.

A must when visiting Falmouth. With 10 real ales on pump, unsurprisingly featured in the Good Beer Guide. A little disappointed; not particularly strong options with the maximum at 4.8% yesterday. An atmospheric locals' wet pub on the waterfront down the steps to a cellar. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Excellent harbourside pub. Good range of beers and ciders. Alcohol free available too.
We last visited on a Sunday evening where there was a quiz, a little different and highly entertaining. Some prizes had been donated by the local Dynamite Valley brewery, great beers 🍻 👍

We found this little bar on the waterside of one of Falmouth's quays. It was voted Pub of the year 2023 in Cornwall by CAMRA. My husbands eyes lit up as he saw the range of real ales!
Customers are welcome to bring their own food, as long as they buy a drink. The outside tables are for customers only and have fab views across the harbour and peninsula opposite.
It's tucked away down a little street, but was run by a friendly helpful barman and listening to other conversations, it clearly impressed others too!

Perfect if you like tea ale. Max clearly understands how to look after the lines, no problem at all. The Pendragon IPA is fantastic, crispy and lovely on the pallet. The staff are friendly and take time to talk to you, this something that’s sadly disappeared in these so called high street pubs.

Hi, under eighteens are allowed in the premises accompanied by an adult up until 11pm. Our license prohibits under eighteens approaching/standing/sitting at the actual bar/servery. Hope this answers your question. Cheers, Matt
