My son loved the lessons! Am now being pestered to buy a board... Gone from first time surfer to addict in 3 sessions!

I signed up for the improver session to help me with my turning and wave selection. There were two others in the class and we had Bertie as our instructor for the session. Bertie went through a brief water safety discussion , then went over some tipsfor perfecting our for pop up’s. Once we got into the water Bertie helped me to select a wave, upon catching each one he would ask me what I thought worked and what could be improved. I was trying out a smaller board 7ft board and was feeling a bit wobbly during my pop up’s. Bertie advised that I took more time to assess and make adjustments for the wave each time. This did the trick and I surfing for most of the session! I would highly recommend Quick Silver and Bertie was a fantastic instructor.

From start to finish I can only highly recommend Quiksilver Surf School.
Booking in advance before our holiday was really easy and clear instructions were provided of where we needed to be and when etc.
Arriving at the surf school for our lesson we met our instructors Joe and Kyle. Two amazing dudes, really friendly, really helpful and highly enthusiastic.
With an age range of 6-50, the lesson was pitched at the right level for us all to understand and above all fun.
Joe and Kyle were amazing, looking after the youngest members of our family. As their Mum this put me at ease so I could concentrate on learning as much I could too.
As you can tell all 7 members of our party throughly enjoyed our experience and yes we highly recommend Quiksilver and yes we will return.

Had several amazing surf lessons with E. Went from a complete beginner at the start of the week to catching some unbroken waves by the end of the week, E was so encouraging and made the lessons fun and worked closely with me to develop my technique. I can’t wait to come back again next year!

My two boys had a lesson with Jack. Jack was great with them and in no time at all had two beginners up and surfing. The boys loved it.

Had a great intermediate surf lesson with Pete yesterday! We learned so much! Pete was super generous with his time and sharing so much surf wisdom. Best newquay surfing experience! Highly recommend!!

We were here on a family trip with our two kids aged 18 and 21 and had a two hour surf lesson with Bertie. We had surfed before a few years ago but were very mixed ability. Bertie ran through all the necessary basics quite quickly maximising the time we spent in the water and was able to support us all from within the water. Three of us managed to stand up on the boards by the end of the lesson. Bertie was very supportive and helpful throughout. Thanks Bertie and the rest of the crew including the photographer who took some great shots of us all.

Had a great lesson with jack, got up surfing and and had the best time ever.

My brother and I did the beginners lesson last week and would recommend it to others who are new to surfing as well! Our instructor Bertie was very encouraging and friendly. A lot was covered, like the importance of water safety, different parts of the surf board and Bertie clearly demonstrated and talked through how to position ourselves on the board. We learnt so much and it was loads of fun. Bertie also gave lots of tips to each of us on how to improve, which was extremely helpful. Thanks for this great introduction to surfing!

Ich hatte meine erste Surfstunde bei Pete. Er war ein better und hilfsbereiter Surflehrer, bei dem ich in nur 2 Stunden viel gelernt habe.
