Traveled down from Newcastle and I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing turquoise sea waves like I never thought I would experience and the staff at bodyboarding holidays were amazing all they want is for you to enjoy your weekend with them. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced they know where the best waves will be on your weekend so any ability can boogie to their level. I cannot wait to get back down there it was well worth the 6 hours drive.

I had a fantastic weekend bodyboarding with Boady board holidays. With great encouraging coaching from Damian Prisk all captured by Simon Hickie. Always nice to meet up with like minded people and go shred some waves, with the bonus of pictures to take away.

I've boarded beach breaks in Oz since the 90s, and always wanted to do an epic Indo trip. Sth Sumatra was on my bucket list - it's hard to get to, but completely worth the effort. BBHols take the worry out of the admin and sort it all for you. The travel all worked and the resort was fantastic - lovely staff, heaps of tasty filling food, and as many cold bintangs as you need! The rooms are basic but great and definitely comfortable enough to rest up from being surfed out every single day. Rob and Grant work hard to make sure you get the best spots to yourselves with the best waves depending on swell and tide. A new location almost every day, amazing hollow waves, awesome footage and of course daily feedback on your positioning, skills and manoeuvres. Best of all, my wife (still a beginner) was carefully coached by Rob in some of the bigger swells, and managed to score an epic barrel (pic 5) near the end of the trip. There's no way I could have organised this myself - and it was a great crew to ride with as well!

Great trip to Amazing waves. Great local hosts and awesome feedback from the video analysis after our surfs. 2nd trip to Indonesia with Bodyboard holidays. These guys know how to do it 🤩🤙🏻🌊! Bintangs and Barrels 🤙🏻

An opportunity of a lifetime that I am glad that I took. This was my first time with bodyboard holidays; it looks set to become a regular.
The locations that were surfed were epic with a tropical paradise backdrop and warm waters. The hosts and locals were super welcoming and Rob and Grant seemed to have everything nailed.
I definitely look forward to my next bodyboard holiday and catching up with some of the guys from the trip in the water.

Warm water, offshore winds everyday and cold binnies with amazing food.
Super friendly and welcoming hosts at a location on the beach front with coconut trees all around, it doesn’t get much better than this.
The waves are absolutely on fire and Rob and Grant have thought of everything to make this an as easy as possible experience to enjoy.
So yeah, all one needs to do is show up and enjoy.

Went on the trip to sumarta and was blown away with how the whole trip was organised, hassle free. Had great waves to ourselfs and amazing coaching sessions along with meeting like minded people with the same froth for the sport. The accommodation was perfect and all the staff so welcoming. Cant say enough about how rob and grant ran the trip and being part of a very special trip. Thanks again G

Incredible amazing experience. Highly recommended. I was a first time BodyBoard Holiday client, but there were many repeat customers on our trip. I can see why. I’m booking my next trip before I get home. Outstanding waves, smart scheduling, expert guides and super friendly local people working hard to ensure our holiday went extremely well. A terrific gang of international surfers, Body Board Holidays had us feeling very happy and interested in each others developing skills and basically tearing it up. Food, accommodations, travel and communication all just right and appreciated. Five stars.

Did the 2023 Sumatra trip, had an awesome time. Rob and Grant were super organised and made the whole experience enjoyable. Would recommended bodyboard holidays to anyone.🌊👍

Hi there,
just looking for a recommendation. ive been to Portugal and Morocco on bodyboarding trips, but now want to go to either Bali or central America. in your opinion which destinations for you have been extra special. im not really a party boy, just looking for a mellow time and great waves...

America. Just come back from Santa Teresa in Costa Rica, the waves are my favourite destination. Look on my Facebook page ‘Robert Benson’ you will see some drone footage.
