Had the best time coasteering with Charlie from Saltair. He was great at trailering the experience to everyone’s needs. We were able to do high or low jumps the whole time which meant everyone got the best out of the activity. Will definitely go again next time we’re in Cornwall. Also ask him his fact on barnacles.

This is the 3rd time we have booked with Salt Air and Charlie and Bert were excellent. Had a private family session as we have a 9 year old and this was great as it allowed my youngest to experience the activity. Professional from start to finish and the final jump was unbelievable. I may buy a dog and just watch next year. Thank you once again for the experience.

Kate and bert lead an amazing coasteering session. I was a little anxious due to being deaf and was worried I wouldn't hear much (cant hear much without my hearing aids). But both the instructors made me feel calm and helped every step of the way! They went through all the safety procedures before we set off and made sure I was ok. The whole experience was incredible. The rock climbing, the caving and the amazing jumps. I loved it. The girls and myself had such a laugh for my friends hen do and would love to do it again

Had a fab time coasteering for a friends Hen. Bert and Kate were fantastic we had such a laugh they both made us feel at ease but also safe. Definitely one of my best ever experiences!

Wanted an adventure to share with the better half and her 2 children, 16 and 14, whilst on a Newquay summer break.
Found Salt Air really easily on the phone, when searched Coasteering Newquay. If you then look on web, on pc/laptop, it's on page 2.. so don't give up and go elsewhere, go salt Air, you will not regret it. It was far more than i had expected, Charlie and Bert were great guide/instructors. we did the 10am slot with a 12pm low tide due. They saved the best till last, during the adventure we swan climbed down as well as up, which on both counts had it's share of challenges, lots of jump in opportunities too, using the swell flow in your favour and a good laugh when timing was not quite right by some of the 7 in our group (us 4 and a 3). Excellent trip, adventure, thrills and fun had by all. We did the Family of 4 offer which was excellent value for money. Like to thank Charlie, Bert and Gemma (admin emails) for the excellent comms and making a huge amount of memories for us to take away.

Thanks for the review! And really pleased you had an amazing time with us on your coasteer. We are always trying to improve our google ranking and reviews like this do help.
Outdoor activities and adventures are definitely more our thing than understanding the dark arts of the web.

We recently spent a day (approximately 8 hours) climbing at the sea cliffs south of St. Ives with Charlie from Salt Air Adventures, and I can honestly say it was the best day of outdoor climbing I have had.
The gear was excellent and Charlie was top notch in guiding and ensuring the group was prepared for the day with a refresher of some rope work to begin with and was always on hand to give advice on routes up the wall.
It was really easy to book the trip over the phone and even though we booked fairly last minute (for a bank holiday weekend) the team were really accommodating and made the process really simple and straightforward.
There was a group of 6 plus our guide and so we climbed in groups of 3 which worked out well to encourage rest periods etc between climbs. We managed 6 climbs in all plus a couple cheeky abseils thrown in a the end for good measure.
I think the most important aspect was that Charlie really made sure we got a good variety of climbs that catered for all abilities which meant everyone could feel comfortable and everyone completed every climb they started which is really positive.
All in all a great day out which re-egnited my keeness for climbing once again!

We booked a half day kayaking at Mylor with Charlie, who explained that the booking was dependent on sensible wind speeds on the day. In the event , the wind was no problem. Isaac (who was just awaiting GCSE results) was absolutely brilliant - great advice, friendly and flexible and set the tone for a very enjoyable day. He really impressed us and seemed much older than his years. A week later, we wanted to try a Coasteering adventure and decided to book again with Salt Air - largely on the strength of the positive experience we'd had at Mylor. This time our adventure was led by Charlie and Bert and between them, they ensured we had an amazing time. They were the perfect balance of relaxed good humour, quiet confidence and very clear advice which in turn, inspired complete confidence. One of my daughters offered the view that it was one of the best things we'd ever done as a family. An amazing company who deserve to do well - thanks so much.

Mylor was a great location and very easy to find. The harbour was a unique place to SUP around. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and given all equipment and instructions clearly. This company obviously goes above and beyond for your safety (giving resources to use just in case; a clear map to self-guide around the local area) and for your enjoyment. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience of SUP at Mylor and are keen to revisit and try other activities with Salt Air.

Charlie guided us along the cliff’s close to Newquay for an absolutely amazing experience.
I went with my 10 year old daughter and with the high quality equipment provided I felt confident at all times that Charlie gave us a thrill seeking experience whilst being aware of the dangers at all times ensuring we all had a great time. I have no idea where he gets his energy from!
We climbed up and down the cliffs jumping into the sea at various heights and had an absolute laugh watching each other gaining confidence and having a lot of fun.
We also had seals swimming within a few feet of us below the cliffs.
Getting out the water is almost as fun as jumping in, you’ll see why when you have a go!
The salt air team were obviously very experienced and I couldn’t recommend this any higher for the whole family. My only regret was not encouraging my wife as she would of loved it!
I’m a big chap and managed to get through the challenges and was absolutely buzzing on the final big jumps! My daughter is a typical 10 year old girly girl and she’s still on a high several hours later.

We had an amazing afternoon coasteering with Charlie and Bert! We had so much fun and felt safe at all times. This is a fantastic fun activity to do whilst visiting Cornwall and a unique way to see the beautiful coast and caves. Salt air are an amazing company and we are glad we came across them! Thanks guys!!
