Super almost secret little cove, not too far from Dartmouth Castle.
As other reviews have mentioned, there are quite a lot of steps to get down to the cove & back (worth it though)
In February we were just about the only ones there at our visit.

Perfect little secret cove for swimming! It’s quite a walk down some steps to get there but it’s lovely and private. My other half and his friend went swimming with their dog. Well worth a visit, the beach isn’t sandy so take appropriate footwear, lots of stones!

A delightful cove that is well sheltered from three sides and is a lovely spot for a paddle or swim in fair conditions. The woodland path down is uneven and ends in lots of steps, so is not for those with mobility issues or a cavalier attitude to footwear.

Fabulous cove to while away a few hours. Lots of steps down to it but rewarded with rock pools and secluded swimming area. Beach is small stone rather than sand and some type of water shoes recommended. Dogs allowed in the summer unlike other beaches. Steps down start near Castle. Public loos nearby.
