Gandy Street is located in the centre of Exeter. It is quite a narrow street with some quirky shops and also there are some art murals to check out while you are there. It's not necessarily a "must see" location but if you like trying to find something a little different you may want to check it out.

On our little route around Exeter I had this as a little quirky stop off and was disappointed to say the least. I was expecting a street full of fascinating art so was underwhelmed to say the least, what was there was fine but nothing more.
If you are going out for a drink or food then there's a chance you will pass by, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Not just the murals but a quaint lane. Atmospheric narrow ancient lane with small shops along it. At the end we noticed a sign to the Phoenix Bar, part of the entertainment venue 50 metres to the right where we enjoyed a lunch away from the manic shopping area.

Taking a walk down Gandy Street on the 100th day of lockdown past the old Gandy Street murals is a fitting reminder of how quiet Exeter is, especially on the back streets in the current pandemic...

Maybe I’m the only person who stops to look at these beautiful murals and then writes about them here lol.....?
On a week day you can stop and look for longer as the high street is much quieter. Nice.

Been a while since I’ve been to see the Gandy street murals- it was winter when I was last here, so it was nice to see them in the summer and take a nice long look at them and really appreciate the work in them.

Nice little and unique shops and excellent food. More interesting for adults and teenagers but certainly worthwhile a visit.

Stopped off at the Gandy street Murals on a blustery Sunday morning. I've walked past them many times but today it was quiet and was able to snap a few images without casing chaos to the shoppers or the homeless sleeping in the street.

Murals in Gandy street in Exeter. Maybe I am going blind or infact they have been taken down. Can't seem to find them. Or well a missed opportunity to see something cool.
