Went to see Mo Gillian and support on 01/11/24. In the great hall. Very good apart from the broken speaker that the bass tried to shake you to death. No member of staff seem interested in sorting. Ruined a good night. Said didn’t know if it was the halls equipment or Mo Gillian’s. Would think before went to great hall again

La Navet Bete..were absolutely fabulous..King Arthur!! We have seen it twice now....so funny and clever...I do wish people would not bring toddlers to this kind of show..it was advertised for 7 and over and to have a toddler sitting through the show..was not ideal...Staff perhaps should not have permitted them . Very friendly staff,....looking forward to the Panto!!!! With small children.😁

My first visit to this theatre. Was very impressed. Plenty of parking and above all seats were comfortable. Service in the bar was faultless. Would highly recommend and definitely return again.

At the unique Comedy Store show on 2nd February 2024
Three of us booked on the Northcott website for this great show.
The food in the bar area was fabulous.
I had a goats cheese pizza which was really well prepared and cooked.
From the entrance staff to the bar staff the friendly and helpful staff made the show flow with laughter.

We went to see King Arthur last evening with our children and grandchildren. Our ages ranged from 77-12. It was a fantastic production full of energy, good humour and wonderful story telling by the three actors. The company are amazing and this is the third production we have seen and the best. It is a wonderful family outing for all the family no matter what age. The youngest and oldest cannot fail to be entertained. Amazing company and if haven’t been, book now and your are in for a treat.

This was our first visit to the Northcott. We went to see a very interesting and informative talk about DNA and King Richard 3rd by Turi King. I'm in a wheelchair so was a bit worried about access. No problems, easy access to the building then a lift up. Friendly staff who chatted while we waited for the doors to open. When inside a chair was taken out of the row so I could slide in to the now vacant space next to my wife. No problems with sound or the presentation. I will be back soon.

The theatre itself is fine, but “Do You Believe in Ghosts” was terrible. The theatre is large, airy, busy, but nice service and seemed fairly quick to get through large queues at the bar. So no gripes about the venue.
The show however was absolutely awful- people were walking out. The script was really terrible, the acting poor- really overacted, and would have been much scarier to speak normally than in a panto voice! It was hands down the worst play I have ever seen, it was funny for all the wrong reasons. I have no idea how family members/friends of the performers have not called them
up on the shambolic play! Avoid!

Another very good performance (Abigail's Party), with seats near the front this time. Adding this review to mention that the pizzas are really good! We dined after a matinee, when it was very quiet & both my husband's ordinary & my gluten free pizza were spot on & reasonably priced too. Didn't wait long either.

Fabulous show (Mind Mangler) last night in a pleasant, not over-large venue. You are near enough the stage even in the back row to feel involved. Seats reasonably comfortable & the University car parks are available for free after 6pm, though wear shoes you can walk in, as the nearest fills up quickly. Only regret is they have changed their draught cider from a local one to the ubiquitous & over-sweet imported Somersby.

Can I please ask, if seated at front, can I go to the side so don't block people's view, thanks any advice

Parking isn’t good although am told there was a Carpark nearby. Could certainly do with signage.
