The actual experience was excellent. The handler was fantastic.
However, the booking process was painful. They get booked up months in advance and there was clearly little appetite to engage and support during the booking process. By the time the actual experience took place, the wider park was closed. They wanted my family to pay full entry price to watch me undertake the experience, which is utterly ludicrous. So I went alone.
When people buy this experience, either for themselves or others, the owners should make it clear that, in order to get a decent slot, you have to book months in advance. Plus make it clear from the outset that they don't care if none of the options work for the person who will undertake the experience.
We won't return as I can't face dealing with the "customer service" again.

It is a shame you chose not to leave your name or contact us directly to discuss your issues as this is the first we are aware of these.
It would be helpful if you could tell us which experience you had as we only get booked up two months in advance during the summer period and all our own personal experiences do say to book 2 months in advance. We have not experienced other customers describing the customer service in this way and as I take the bookings I find this hurtful as a small family run business. Small businesses struggle enough and comments such as this can be detrimental. We work tirelessly to ensure emails are replied to usually with 24-48 hours, 7 days a week 365 days of the year.

With regards to the fee, this is a spectator fee that most similar experiences charge and all goes towards the husbandry and feeding of our birds. We have never stated it gives entrance to the park for a free day at the centre. It is not obligatory as you are aware and you are welcome to attend to complete the experience without any further costings.

Had this place recommended to us. Not sure we would have found it otherwise.
This a great family run venture, with the whole family involved in running it.
The birds are well looked after and loved and cared for. Also lots of informative signage.
Great talks and shows.

Me, my 9 month old son and 80 year old grandad were all captivated and amazed by the fantastic flying displays. The talks were enjoyable, engaging and insightful. Each talk was very interactive and the breadth of knowledge they imparted was impressive. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming, a really lovely family run business. Cannot recommend highly enough, we will definitely be visiting again soon!

We had a great day at this park , lots of birds to see , with excellent flying displays with very passionate ,dedicated and friendly staff which made the day extremely enjoyable .

I was treated to a handling day by my beloved girlfriend Emma and we arrived at the start of the display teams show and both Kyle and Dan were informative, knowledgeable, fun and polite even to the family from Liverpool. We then went to the handling experience and were fortunate to hold x2 Owls, x1 Harris Hawk, x1 Hooded Vulture finally there magnificent Bold Eagle which was awesome.... After a bite to eat we wondered around the aviaries and they have such a wonderful selection of bird's from around the world that are not only for show, but part of a breading scheme and education platform... Nice job to all at the sanctuary we will visit again and will be recommending you to other's.

Martin & Family gave an excellent view in the work they do. The birdshot with Martin and his assistent are of very high class. The motivation to do the best for their birds and rescue birds is amazing.
In the first minutes Martin has your full attention and informs whit great motivation.
His professional network, his passion for describing the characteristics, his humor and his motivation to teach young and old is very seldom seen. Wish then all the best!

We did a family experience! What a wonderful place- run by friendly and knowledgeable family. We had a total blast and our kids loved the experience and the flying display after! Thank you! We will be back!

Hi yes we have over 100 birds to see if they are interested in animals and the outdoors and two flying displays per day. Please feel free to call us if you have any further questions 😀

Hi there, if you are visiting the site (rather than an experience) we will still do a meet and greet if we are unable to do a full flying display or we may be able to postpone flying until it passes over. Unfortunately some of the birds get very wet and don't want to fly in heavy rain.
