To manifest Neptune in a Cheltenham Fountain was an absolute honour. To drain his works, of all people's, is an absolute insult. I expect that he would have wanted to smite them, except all his minions will have shrivelled in the dry.

What’s not to love about a classic fountain? We discovered this on a post dinner stroll in Cheltenham and it made the place feel like some exotic European city. It’s a fountain, does what fountains do but adds a little splash of magic to the town.

Based on the trevi fountain in Rome and it is a stunning piece of work, but it needs to have some water in it to show it to its full potential.
Easy to find at the bottom of the promenade, worth a few minutes to stop and take in Neptune, his trident and his sea horses.

Really nice Neptune God inspired fountain with some nice statue pieces. Behind is the spectacular Municipal buildings. There are some nice benches along here to sit and enjoy the scenery.
