Have been visiting since before when it was Magicland. Great refurb. Very clean and fun environment for kids, food was brilliant and such polite young people working there.
But I was appalled by the attitude of the manager I assume. (Glasses/short hair) The threatening behaviour she used towards her young staff members was horrific. Shouting at them, using verbal threats towards staff near where we were queuing for food. We could hear shouting across the seating area and through where food is prepared. I can’t imagine any of their work warranted this as they provided a friendly service, and I can’t imagine there is any excuse for this in a child’s setting either! One example was shouting at a young girl for trying to find the table food needed taking to. I can only praise the staff for not reacting and having the maturity to rise above this.
A soft play should be somewhere for children to have fun and develop and I can’t imagine these young staff can provide children this experience when they’re being spoken to in such a manner. Such a shame as apart from management, this would be a 5 but will be using other local soft plays for the foreseeable.

Thank you for your review which I frankly find fascinating. So your a regular visitor to the centre and love all the facilities, the food is fantastic and the staff are great. You admit to wanting to give us 5 stars but because of one incident, you have completely changed your mind about the centre and will never return. So I am a little surprised about your reaction to this incident. I take all these reviews very seriously and investigated this with all the weekend staff and none of the staff agreed with your comment and did not feel that they were being shouted at.
We are of course busy at the weekends and sometimes you have to shout to be heard but your comment implies the manager was bullying the staff. I can categorically say no member of staff felt that they were being intimidated and in fact praise the manager. They work brilliantly as a team and the fact my staff are long serving speaks volumes when this industry ( soft play) is prone to high turnover of staff. I have to question if you are a mum who had beef with the manager because of an incident between her daughter and your children and you clearly was not happy with my response.
If you aren’t, I apologise. but it seems strange that no one seems to recall this incident and I find your response to a once off alledged experience strange. Most people would see this as not our usual standard of service and bring it to our attention as being something that needs to be fixed. Our normal service is your 5 star review, which
is backed up by all the other 5 star reviews here and on Google and being winner of the best small business in Gloucestershire 2023.

Usually Rugrats and half pints is amazing for my little girl and friends so I would usually be giving a 5 star review for the place on the whole. However, my self and my friend bought our 1 year old daughters to the Halloween Disco having seen the advertisements for this when we visited the soft play before and thought this would be a lovely first halloween party for them, as there appeared to be lots for them to do, arts and crafts, games, a goody bag, a disco and much more was advertised. This was not the experience we had! When we arrived it was basically just the usual soft play set up, and then they were given some food within the price. The "party" was listed as going from 4-6, and nothing happened, no disco, no games, no arts and crafts were seen at all! Until 5:30 when the lights were turned off and some music was played for "the disco". The lights then came back on again at 6pm which did not give the children long enough to get into the disco at all, and that was it. As mentioned there were no games, no arts and crafts, no goody bag apart from a big box left in the middle of the dance floor to dip into and pull out some bubbles, and was very very short. Our children loved the soft play, but for £19.50 we were very very disappointed. We will be returning to Rugrats and half pints I'm sure, but definitely will not return to the Halloween party or any other events organised following this one in the future. What a shame!

Dear Kath - thank you so much or the lovely comments about our soft play centre and how you would normally give us a 5 star review. That is so lovely to hear.
I am sorry to hear that your Halloween experience was not up to scratch and have caught up with the management team who were responsible for it. Whilst its no excuse, they had a number of staff call in sick that day which left them badly understaffed and could not find anyone to come in at short notice. I do also agree the party was not as well planned as I was lead to believe and am disappointed myself. I am truly sorry we let you down on this occasion and in future will make sure any future events are better planned. I will be asking the Banbury manager to co-ordinate more with the staff as their party was a huge success with very positive reviews. I myself will get involved in any more and ensure they over staff next time. Huge apologies. Caroline xxx

We visited Rugrats and Halfpints with our 14 month old Grandson. This place is amazing for children of that age. There a plenty of interactive games to keep them happy.
The staff were brilliant, and made us feel very welcome. It was our first visit to this type of play park... we will be back!

Booked a party for my 5 year olds birthday. Everyone had a fantastic time. Delia and the team were absolutley amazing, helpful, attentive and went the extra mile to make my little boy feel special and accomodate eveyones needs. Fabulous place, lots of things for the kids to do. Love the new equipment and the massive touch screen. Cute little huts, food was great. Great selection of food and drinks too and very clean! All perfect :) Would 100% book again and can highly recommend!

A great few hours out.
Took 2 kids 2 and 6 years and they had a great time exploring and playing. The layout is great and they have made the most of the floor space and having separate areas for different things like sand etc meant kids weren’t on top of each other like at other soft plays. The slides were brilliant and the staff were really attentive to keeping the area tidy and safe.
The food is a tad more pricey but the portion sizes are generous and there is a large variety of options.
Unfortunately we didn’t get to try out the arcade area as it was being used by the same family the whole time but it looked great and hopefully we can try it out next time.

This is our 3rd visit herebwith our 13 month old. Being summer holidays we brought our daughter who's 14, yes huge age gap I know lol.
Anyway daughter has learning difficulties and find things can be overwhelming and crap sometimes and so shebwas a bit unsure if to come thinking it was going to be like mosh pit lol. Yes it was busier than normal but us parents have to take older siblings with us and that's part of it sometimes.
Anyway. As always it was bright, clean, not stuffy, lots of new things in place and never felt crowded at any point. Our daughter hung out with her little brother in the sensory area for ages and she loved it! It's so nice e to chill in there and she found it a nice escape. So cute seeing them chill together.
Food was amazing as always! Deffo recommended the full English and the kids portion was spot on. We really enjoy going here and have tried other places but we prefer to drive the extra time to go to cirencester one as its not failed yet and we will definitely recommend and be back. Staff are helpful, happy, talkative and safety aware with things like the gates in and out and what kids are up to on the equipment (not that I've ever seen any kids being ott there) and staff always doing a walk round and cleaning food area, equipment and so on. If you'd like somewhere nice to go, that chill, burns the energy off even the little ones and has areas for sensory then please go. Well done all!

Had my son's 6th birthday here, brought my 10 year old too. They had such a great time, we didn't see them unless they wanted a drink! Accommodated an eating disorder. Lovely food that went down so well. Brought lots of parents who'd not been before, who are coming back!

Fabulous morning with the grandson at this venue. So much for him to do, interactive activities, soft play areas with slides etc.

The Milestone School in Gloucester contacted Rugrats and Halfpints in Cirencester to discuss a school trip visit. From the very start, the staff were incredibly helpful and understanding of our school. Upon arrival, we were thrilled to find out we had been given complimentary party huts as a safe and calm space for our pupils to access. The disabled access was opened for the pupils to use, which was very thoughtful of staff. The facilities available met all the needs of the pupils, from bouncing on trampolines, a calm sensory area, a wonderful light sensory zone and the thrills of the slides and swings. We would not hesitate to return to this venue again and thank the staff for their amazing communication and hospitality. 10/10

This place is amazing!! We live in Swindon and travelled 20 minutes down the A419 to Rugrats and Halfpints Cirencester and stayed all day! The kids (ages ranging from 6 months up to 15 years) didn't stop playing all day! Loads of stuff here for all age ranges and the staff are wonderful. We will be coming here again!

No you don’t need to book. It’s a pay as you come service but you can get a membership.
