I was in a manual wheelchair and used my crutches as it's lumpy and March and I'm heavy to push. An electric wheelchair would have no problems.
I enjoyed myself and hope to be back later in year.
I might even stretch to a private hours tuition.

Thank you for your review, we are currently negotiating with Batsford Aboreham regarding a proper pathway for the 15 meters between our shelter and the parking area.
At the moment it can be a bit bumpy after a rain fall, but it is still accessible to all abilities.
We are glad you enjoyed yourself and look forward to meeting you again later in the year.

Both Jenny and Neil were great hosts and tutors for the experience. They had a keen eye for safety which was clear from the start but also were able to deliver the session well with humour and jest which made the session even more enjoyable! It was great to hear about the different types of bows used, how they differ and why with a brief history behind each one. We Thank you for your time!

We had a very enjoyable morning doing the archery experience, Jenny was a great teacher and demonstrator. We brought our baby along and he loved watching! Would highly recommend the experience. Thank you

Had a private archery session for 5 of us, Myself, my wife and 3 boys 10-16. All had a really enjoyable time. Very informative and fun session in a relaxed atmosphere, although a little tired after 90 minutes of continuous shooting! Would definately recommend.

What a great morning out😃Never done archery before so was super excited 😜 Neil and Jenny are both very experienced with what they doing and both can joke and still give you support you needed and helpful advice. Me and my friend trying 3 different bows and I felt like Robin Hood in action 😂 amazing atmosphere and recommending this for everyone 💪🏻

Neil and Jenny were absolute stars, we booked the 2 hour experience and got to try out their full range of bows. The instruction and guidance provided was very helpful and attentive and I would highly recommend Cotswold archery to anyone looking for a fun activity

Great experience, would recommend to anyone to give a go. If we head back to the Cotswolds we will definitely book again. Neil and Jenny were fantastic hosts and teachers, really accommodating and knowledgeable.
The archery spot is situated perfectly around beautiful scenery, we had no problems finding the location with the directions provided on booking.

A cold Saturday morning learning archery.

Neil and Jenny were excellent from start to finish and made us feel very welcome. The archery tuition was first rate and we really enjoyed the 2x hour taster session. So much so, i have booked again for a friends stag do. recommended

Hello so sorry for late reply, we have only just received your question.
Cotswold Archery do one hour of archery for £25 per person , this is usually reserved for Children / Children's parties aged 8 to 14 or potential archers with limited abilities.

Is it possible to try out compound, longbow or field barebow? My wife and I already shoot target recurve (much improvement required though!) and would be interested to dabble in different styles for fun!

Cotswold Archery allows the archer to use up to four other styles of bows in the second hour of the two hour archery session.
You will get to shoot a metal handle recurve bow, a Syrian horse bow, Compound Bow and the Mongolian bow.

Cotswold archery offers two hours of archery for £30 per person, in that two hours the first hour with the basic wooden three piece recurve training bow, to establish a good shooting style.
Then we shoot three other bows, Metal handled recurve bow, A Syrian horse-bow and then the mighty Mongolian bow.
An Olympic sport that takes minutes to learn but years to master.
