I took a beginner climbing class recently and found it very helpful in solidifying my foundation to do belaying and going up the high wall safely. There is a 20% discount which you have to use on the day of completion of the course so do keep in mind what are some of the things you may wish to buy after finish the course!

I booked my 4 and 6 year olds onto the Wild Climbers session. Greg the instructor was brilliant with the kids, really inspired confidence.
Needless to say both kids are super keen to go back and do more climbing at Parthian.

My brother and I have been climbing here for over a year now and everything about the staff, facilities and experience couldn’t have been better. We progressed through the NICAS kid’s clubs, having some private lessons which enabled us to top rope unsupervised pretty quickly. We made friends in the group nicas sessions, and the squad has been fun and challenging for my brother. We have been given amazing opportunities and helpful, relevant and trustworthy advice. Coming from a non-climbing family, it can seem hard to know where to start but the staff here are so welcoming and keen to help. We’ve gone from absolute beginners to feeling comfortable lead climbing, and knowing how to sport climb outdoors. I couldn’t have asked for a better climbing centre. Thank you very much. Excellent coffee too.

Outstanding facilities, staff and atmosphere. Incredibly knowledgeable staff, soooo many roped climbs, auto-belays and 2 floor of boulders including gym and training room… and a cafe…and a shop… and showers.

I've been a regular at Parthian since my daughter started climbing through the NICAS scheme, which is excellently coached by the way. Technically I could leave her to it, and collect her at the end but I really like the energy of the place and with a café and charging points I find I get a lot of work done. I'd contemplate coming even without a climber just to blast through my to-do list! Only if it's really tipping it down, or very windy, do they close the big doors which offer a much needed bit of fresh air to both sweaty climbers and pizza eaters alike.
This weekend my son and I did the adult beginner's climbing course - 6 hours over the 2 days, so that we too can climb/boulder/belay throughout the centre. Tash and Greg were both fantastic teachers, encouraging us and teaching us clearly and patiently. There were 6 of us on the course, which was a nice number, we all got on well and even though I was probably twice the age of most of them, I felt very much part of the group.
Quite honestly, if they can get a middle-aged mum like me climbing (credentials - experience, non existent, fitness: atrocious, suitability for climbing: pretty poor), AND enjoying it to boot, then they deserve more than just a good review!

Amazing climbing facility with a large range of boulders, top rope and lead climbing routes for all levels. Good gym and the cafe does good coffee and excellent pizzas.
Friendly staff and good rental equipment complete what is a very nice place to spend a few hours climbing.

We took a party of secondary aged school kids with little to no climbing experience. The session was well led by the instructors who kept all engaged and enthused, would definitely recommend Parthian Climbing

Simply put the best climbing facilities I’ve ever seen. Something for all levels of ability and even though very busy on that particular day (it was raining) still lots of space for everyone. Gym and café excellent. On-site shop and knowledgeable friendly staff. Can’t reccomend enough.

An excellent climbing center for either new starters or professionals. Great atmosphere and coaching from the staff. Parking can fill up quick on the weekends but overall a good day out.
