An amazing place with lots of choice for beer and cider and ever changing. Lots of knowledge from the staff and very friendly and great snacks on hand as well. Craft Ale, Real Ale and cider from all over and a good show from the local area, Customers really nice and friendly and welcome tourists no problem. Would highly recommend a visit here.

Stayed in Hereford for three nights and came here every night. Fabulous selection of beer and very knowledgeable staff - totally recommend!!!

I stumbled upon this gem of a place online and it fully deserves 6 stars. It has an amazing selection of craft ales and ciders at reasonable prices. the service from the extremely helpful staff is spot on!!

First pub we visited since the lockdown. Was slightly nervous re safety arrangements but needn’t have worried. Great pub, tables well spaced out and of course the beer was excellent! In my opinion the best real ale house in Hereford.

Me and the wife popped in for a beer and I'm glad we did they were really friendly and the beer was excellent it's a proper ale pub for people who love beer I would recommend it to all

This is by far the best place to visit if you’re a craft beer connoisseur as they have large choice of such beers to suit anyone’s palette. It’s quite extensive inside with lots of seating and is very popular with the local which is always a good sign. The guy who served us was very friendly and helpful and the venue is a must visit if you’re in the area and want to sample good beers.

A great find if you're into real ale or microbreweries. Tried a few - not too keen on Black Dragon (cider). Liked In The Beginning (ale) and Bristol Brewing Co cider. Also freshly prepared pizza to mop up the booze. Lots of choice (so ask for taster before committing) and amiable hosts. Also does wine and spirits. Handy for nearby Travelodge.

Lovely "craft" beer bar which also has a pop up pizza kitchen. Excellent selection of well kept beers and ciders and friendly staff. Good sized, tasty pizzas, its a perfect neighbourhood bar!

A small group of us (2 couples) have just spent the last 3 days exploring Hereford and we were lucky enough to find this wonderful ale house very close to our accommodation. Fantastic craft beers, ciders and gins to suit all our tastes and at reasonable prices. Lovely serene atmosphere, unspoiled by TV's, gaming machines or loud music, there is music but it is ambient and of good quality. The ales are kept perfectly and there is always a wide variety available, I particularly enjoyed 'Pale Blue Dot* by the Bristol Beer Factory - awesome! If you are an ale lover and in the Hereford area this is a must - you will not find better, thank you to everyone involved.
