I love the Vaga Tavern and i will tell you why me and Audrey love going down to sink a few pints and forget the way home with a cheese and onion sandwich. Great staff and everyone is up for a laugh love it

From what I've seen its a decent pub to go to. Has a large outdoor area where the adults can relax and the children can play.
Inside the pub they have a pool table, which doesn't have the much space around it, so it's not the best to play.
There's a skittle alley which can also be hired out for functions. The staff are usually good and there's no problem with the drinks.

Although fairly nondescript from the exterior, this turned out to be a decent local boozer. Good Herefordshire ales, friendly staff, great service and a thriving local clientele. A great busy pub. Well done to them.

What a lovely pub. The staff and customers are friendly and welcoming. There's a roaring fire in the comfortable lounge, a roomy bar, a great pool table and even a skittle alley. As a vegetarian, I didn't eat at the Vaga because the menu is a bit limited but it's not a restaurant after all and that's all good. Sometimes you just need a nice pub and this is one I'm happy to recommend.

My first trip here coincided with the beer festival & 'open mike' night. Great atmosphere, lively but good humoured with the music an added bonus. Certainly beats most of the characterless bars in town. A wide selection of beers, plus a family play area/garden outside, although not much in the way of food available. As part of the expanding Wye Valley Brewery empire (!) I would call this The Barrels 'Lite' which is high praise indeed.
