We went for a visit to Aylett nursery. They have a really good all round stock of plants and equipment to buy. Then we went to the restaurant and found good selection of food especially gluten free food at reasonable prices and delicious as well. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and pointed out all the gluten free items on the menu, father than me having to look on the app. I would recommend this nursery to everyone. Ron

Met here with a friend for brunch, the ladies in the cafe made us feel like we were such an inconvenience to them. From seating to service. Very poor customer service. Made us feel very uncomfortable. Food was nice though, thankfully.

A family run garden centre with a huge selection of plants and garden equipment and supplies. Not the cheapest place but the plants are of high quality and most come with a guarantee. Mr Aylett can often be found welcoming and chatting to customers in the shop. The ladies in the information shed are so helpful when you are looking for a particular plant or cultivar.

We arranged to meet two other family groups here today, we had all travelled a fair way to get here.
We had a lovely coffee and lunchtime in very pleasant surroundings. The staff were efficient and friendly, service was quick, and prices were very reasonable.
Particular thanks go to a young man called Lee for whom nothing was too much trouble. He made sure we could all sit together in comfortable seats and with plenty of space which really enhanced our time together.
We will definitely be back for our next get-together!

Celebration garden is still looking good into October. Its a nice spot to relax - taking 45 min or so to look around. The garden gives useful inspiration for what you can plant in your own garden. I certainly took some ideas away for adding some colour to an October garden. They especially grow dahlias, but there is lots of other colour too including Michaelmas daisies and maples. The paths are grass, its all flat and there are plenty of benches. Only slight glitch is the background noise from the road, but it does not really intrude on the pleasant setting. There is no charge to visit the garden.

Ayletts is a great place to go - been going for years ..BUT please please go back to being no dogs !! The christmas gift section had dogs in there that were sniffing everything - as dogs do - including cushions and soft toys for sale . This is not nice or hygenic in any way and infact many of the items that I would have bought I didn't for this reason. If you are going to allow dogs in your store then surely it would be possible to keep them out of the indoor areas where there is clothing and gifts for sale.

Excellent garden centre. We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the cafe celebrating my wife's birthday. The one acre Celebration Garden was lovely, lots of dahlias, their speciality. The garden has picnic tables.

Outstanding Garden nursery. My first time visiting as new to the area. Plant choice, garden accessories etc. are amazing. But what makes this place is their staff who were absolutely superb. From check-out to cafe to all the different areas in the nursery - it was a 5 star experience. My Mum really appreciated the attention and help. A special mention to the gentleman in the cafe, the lady in the outdoor lighting area and the ladies in the indoor plant area. My only complaint is that I only went in for a £200 budget but doubled It! That said, their products are quality and I certainly will be a multiple repeat visitor. Do you do discounts for repeat customers?!

If you want a plant that will live and has the best chance come here.
Their advice is amazing and they are very responsive to emails that are sent via the website.
They will reserve plants and clearly look after them.
Not too expensive for the quality you get when it comes to plants.

Aylett Nurseries is on the A414 and is accessible if you are heading towards Hatfield. There is alot of parking and once you get into the garden centre there are lots of different things to buy whether you are looking for indoor plants, ornaments, plants for your garden and much more.
There are a few negative reviews about the cafe but it was fine with clean facilities.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and I would come back if in the area.
