We had a most delightful river trip with Callum. He was informative, charming, and totally delightful. It was the highlight of my trip to Canterbury. There are several choices for river tours, but you must pick Canterbury Punting Company.

We went to ride boat and it’s is just awesome, guide knows very well about the place and funny as well. Time spent quickly. The guide when he say if you like the todays ride than my name is Calum otherwise Mark. He is too funny and had lots of experience

Lovely tour courtesy of Jacob, our funny and friendly guide. Great to see Canterbury from the water and felt we learnt lots of fun new information.

Had a great evening on the boat despite the cold. Emily guided us and she told us some great stories. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere and super comfortable, very romantic date :)

A friend and I went on the nature tour, upstream and had a wonderful time. The five stars are for our punter, Emily, who was super friendly and told us loads of interesting facts and stories about the local area and wildlife. We even saw a gorgeous kingfisher! The rest of the cafe/bar staff is lovely, friendly and helpful too. Would absolutely recommend it for a beautiful relaxing time, learning about Canterbury and enjoying the water.

Jacob was a fantastic storyteller. His stories were historical and interesting.

I went with my family on a historical punt tour with the Canterbury Punting Company on the River Stour. Our guide Jacob was funny and knowledgeable - answering all our questions well. My children rated it the best part of our trip to Kent! Although it is quite pricey, I would definitely recommend this experience.

Took a punt on this trip, not checking trip advisor first! Glad we did, as it was great. Marcus was our Punt driver, he was a pleasant chap and had a good knowledge of the area, a good sense of humour and a fantastic moustache. The cafe where we paid for the put was nice too and a good way to start the trip. Very relaxing trip down the river, gaining some knowledge of Canterbury along the way, would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful experience. Brad runs the cafe with great professionalism and food was a delight. Callum gave the most amazing river tour. A very interesting factual tour with great humour thrown in as well. Absolutely made my trip to Canterbury. Cannot reccomend this experience enough. Well done all.

We will be touring around in May following our Lions Convention in Eastbourne, then staying for two nights in Canterbury, going on to Leeds Castle, Cambridge and Lincoln, before returning home to Liverpool. As we intend to see as many places as possible, the Punt tour sounds fascinating. How long does it last, what times does it operate, and how much does it cost?
Hi, we start from 10.30am, until 5pm,it's a 40 minute guided tour, and costs £10 per person, £8 students/seniors, and £5 children.
