Sort out your website - ASAP!!

The cinema is great! Clean, friendly staff, never too busy, always clean and comfortable! But for the love of god, SORT YOUR WEBSITE OUT!!! Booking tickets online is an absolute nightmare! I bought the new year saver deal and I probably won't buy any others offers!! Even though they're brilliant value for money - and all because the website is appalling! A massive company like Odeon can surely hire a website developer to sort it out???

Chatham Imax, my new favourite cinema.

The Imax screen and theatre is incredible and a real surprise, a gem for cinema goers in the area. Finally after years of watching Jaws on the small screen of various sizes I am grateful for the chance to see the movie on the big screen (and the Imax screen is big!). The sound is incredible too, the rumbles from the subs are 360 and a joy, the surround system is top notch. Recliners are comfortable and roomy.

Add all that and the fact the staff are friendly and engaging I was incredibly impressed with Chatham Odeon and look forward to returning.

Cancelled!!! Sad!! :(

Cancelled at the last minute, by cinema due to technical issues. Said they’d refund, which I haven’t got yet, and asked if I’d like to rebook another film. I had no idea what else was showing (who has a back up film)! Really disappointing!!

Nice Cinema

Nice Cinema, good quality screens and quite clean. The cinema was good and the experience was also good. The cinema was good value and all of the staff were very friendly. There weren't many deals for food/drink on offer but this is to be expected from a cinema.

There is an on-site Costa Coffee which is also nice. We had a coffee here prior to our cinema viewing. Again the staff are friendly and the coffee/iced drinks were to a good Costa standard.

Left disappointed

My daughter was waiting for this trip for a very long time, but she was left very disappointed. Food at the mall is not edable at all, very spicy for kids and just did not taste right. Cinema theatres were very dirty. Lots of mess was left by the other people.
We did enjoy the sound and movie itself, just the whole experience wasn't what we would expected especially not being busy.

Much Improved

Since lockdown, the cinema has been renovated, and besides a couple of broken seats that I've experienced, things are much better than they used to be. The contactless ticketing and food ordering system is much more successful than the old model, and the new IMAX screen is fantastic. They also seem to have resolved the issue of rats in the screens.

Needs a bit of TLC

Noticed quite a few broken seats in the screen we were in, obviously needs a bit of TLC. Prices are a bit expensive but I guess that's standard. Notice they do a silver screen on Tuesday afternoon with cheap entry for pensioners.

Taking food into cinemas - Clarification

I've noticed a few reviews about being refused entry to a film with food. This may have already been clarified by another reviewer but from what I understand, the Odeon cinema's policy is that they don't mind you bringing food as long as it's COLD not hot food. and non-alcoholic drinks. So a burger, hotdogs etc., will not be allowed.
