Lovely sandy beach . No facilities … bonus . Lots of people walking along the promenade . Dog friendly beach . Better for seclusion and quietness. Away from busy Ramsgate main beach .

Nice sandy beach to give the dogs a run on all year round.

This is a lovely golden sand beach on the Kent coast. It’s quite big and is nice and clean. There’s plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and it’s definitely worth a visit

quite impressive drive in through the tunnel, with a very good parking and walking area along the sea. the old car ferry port needs a bit of a tidy up and hopefully a new use will be found for the area soon.

Past Ramsgate on the way to Pegwell Bay is the Western Undercliff Beach. Much quieter than the main Ramsgate sands and nothing in the way of facilities other than parking on the road side. A nice sandy beach but the waves were quite rough when we were there.

I came here with young children and my sister and it was a lovely sandy beach and quite no toilets near by though had to climb all the stairs to the top!. The beach also had loads of these horrible jumping bugs but the girls loved it the ocean it self was very rough in this area if the children were to enter the water they would of definitely been swept away and quickly for that matter don't think these parts of the ocean are very safe. Ramsgate is better for ocean fun if that's what your doing but if you just going to build sand castle and was peace and quite this is the place to go!!!

Once a thriving holiday 'artificial beach' protected by the groins the upgraded road from the recent new tunnel to the ferry terminal (currently defunct) now runs between the cliff base and beach. The cafe is long shut but plenty of parking and free sand if you like seclusion or fishing.

whilst nice viewing the sea from the promanade the beach at high tide when i visited was to small tp use. probably better at low tide.

Heading down to harbor and so decided to enjoy a short walk along to Pegwell and then back along sea-front. Nice views, pleasant place to walk. Popular, many folks walk their dogs along here.
