The staff were brilliant and can’t be faulted for their support. Although it seemed very short staffed and very busy. We attended the disabled side access and rang the bell a few times with no answer. Eventually I had to leave my group and go inside to the bar to get someone to open the door. You can’t do this yourself as the internal corridor door can only be opened by staff!
Inside the staff helped us to get a table in the lower area which required the use of the internal lift. Once in the lower area, that was mega busy and the only area disabled people can access we got a table, but it was tight.
Food was challenging as there was loads out of stock, all the Christmas options, burgers, pizza and numerous other items were out of stock, which was challenging.
When we eventually got to pick food that was available it arrived swiftly and was good.
We ordered puddings, then a member of staff came to say the options we had ordered were unavailable. We got alternatives.
On leaving I got a member of staff to open the disabled exit for us to leave.
All in all this was a disappointing visit, only made up by a great staff experience.

A Wetherspoons pub with a difference. Whatever you think of the chain this one is a must visit. The opera house is well preserved with the boxes and circle intact. The stage and stalls being the pub part. My wife (retired opera singer) was mesmorised. Go there!

Popped in for drinks after dinner elsewhere. Friend was stunned at the inner beauty of the building and loved it when I told them that opera's are still occasionally performed there. I really must go to see one.
Drinks were fine. Service was fine. Building is outstanding.

Extremly terrible. One of the bouncer let us in the pub, but also let us know that they are closing soon. However, we have been there less then half an hour, and a little bit later a different bouncer told us we have to leave straight away. Even though we haven't even finished half way of our drinks, and I asked if I can takeaway our drinks since we've just start drinking but he told us no, and his excuses was because of the covid thats why we can't even take our drinks with us, which make zero sence. If the company is very concern about the pandemics then we all should've been told to wear a mask or something. Make non sence honestly, and they way this bouncer kicked us out is like we not even their customer .. just went there to get free drinks, and when the place is closed they can just kicked us out like animals. Defo need to look down on this staffs.

What an amazing building! Couldn’t stop looking up and around at the old opera house. Plenty of seating, lovely food and arrived quickly and was very hot and cheap drinks all night. Staff friendly however very young and some needed to smile a bit more whilst others went over and above to talk and keep customers happy.

lovely building, plenty of room and tables, but the service was not very good and in found the food not upto the normal standard, overall very disappointed.

I am writing this review purely because the building was worth a review. The bars were very well placed and easy to get a drink. Worth popping into just to ser an amazing piece of history.

The building is amazing , the staff friendly. However service was slow, we had to find our own menus and condiments which seemed few and far between. The tables were not cleared very fast and those that were not wiped over and the tables were sticky. The areas looked messy and disorganised. The food when it arrived was fine. This also seemed a meet up place for drinking as loudly as possible, even though we don’t speak polish we could understand the profanities they constantly used which wasn’t great with the family diners. The staff could see and hear too and I don’t blame them for being apprehensive and therefore it wasn’t addressed. Very sad because the building is amazing inside. We were tired, we ate, we left.....

Beautiful architecture and building that has a very cheap bar. Mixed group of people, young to a much older group. The food is reasonable with a good selection.
