I travelled with the ferry from Calais to Dover for a school trip 25/09/'24 at none. Customs went smoothly and didn't take long. I had a breathtaking 1h30 on the boat. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the food and the ship were clean. Inside, it was beautifully decorated. There were fake trees for example. We went to the deck; the view was as pretty as a picture. I would love to do it again.

Worst holiday ever. Everyone had COVID. Room wasn’t clean on arrival, large clumps of dark hair in the shower which I had to get rid of myself. Not a good start. Suitcases weren’t brought to the room I had to go and find them.
Food was awful. Inedible most of the time. I lost weight on this holiday as there was nothing much I liked.
Teenage daughter was made to feel very uncomfortable when a waiter flirted with her at the buffet and she wouldn’t go and get food alone after that.
Still don’t know why my bank account was charged £60 on the last day as I still had money left in the onboard spend. I have never received my final bill despite asking for it from reception and emailing P&O afterwards! As it is now longer than a month since my complaint they are actually breaking the law by not responding. Awful company AVOID!!!!!

I wanted to alter my date of travel out to Calais. P&O phone number was ringing out, but eventually, there was a message to say that if I pressed the digit 1, somebody would ring me back. So I did. Nobody phoned back. So I went to an online assistant and got a message saying they would get back to me within 7 minutes. Nobody did. So I emailed and got a message saying it could take up to 28 days to get back to me, which is no good as we're going next week. I've followed P&O on Facebook, so I sent them a message outlining the problem. The reply was that they couldn't deal with the problem and gave me the P&O number that I'd been ringing all day. P&O used to be very good if I had a problem, but these days, it's impossible to get an answer.

We went on the Ferry from Hull to Rotterdam and back a week later. The cabins are superb, the ferry is amazingly clean, the cabins are really clean and fresh, the staff can't do enough for you. The restaurant would disgrace many hotels and the staff in there are also first class. The organisation to get you on and off the ship was outstanding and friendly. I can't speak highly enough of it and couldn't wait to get back on it after being in a supposedly good hotel in Holland for a week (that wasn't). I wish I had stayed on the ferry for a week - although the food was so good I wouldn't have been able to get in my clothes!

Just got back today 17/03/24 , from the Pride of Rotterdam . Great trip.
The staff are lovely and the ship was lovely and clean and we loved Nicky Michell on the entertainment she was fantastic on Friday night then again last night.
We had a twin outside room and it was great, lovely and clean
This is our 4th trip in a year and we will do it again

We travelled from Hull on Friday 9 Feb, our return booking for Sunday 11 Feb was cancelled meaning we had to return on the Saturday night.We had booked 3 rooms in a non refundable hotel and museum tickets costing nearly 500 euros.i emailed p and o for reimbursement with proof of bookings and they haven't replied.Has anyone else done the same and heard anything?

We went on a p&o ferry mini cruise from
Hull to Rotterdam and it was a fantastic trip from start to finish. Communication and the ease of boarding and disembarking was amazing. There was a delay getting off the ship which wasn’t the fault of p&o it was down to the power in hull and the staff on the ship went above and beyond to accommodate everyone, they kept in constant communication, provided free of charge refreshments and the staff was still smiling whilst working tirelessly to help everyone with the delay, can not fault anything at all. We will definitely be booking again.

At Dover check-in staff working is very poorly ,, not all but some people is very poorly work,,,,, those are not care for truckers time,, sometime staff using the phone at the check in time and truck driver also waiting near the window For submit his documents

We went on P&o ferries from Hull to Amsterdam for a weekend trip, leaving Friday night and arriving Saturday morning.
The boat has music and live entertainment, casino, restaurant, plenty of bars- including a sky bar with more (piano) entertainment, cinemas, areas for children to play, shops, arcade area and a restaurant.
With the accommodation, the beds are very comfortable, the only cons being the rooms aren’t very spacious ( I would recommend upgrading to a double bed instead if you are travelling as a couple as it’s worth it instead of having bunk or single beds), the shower only has a curtain to cover it so the bathroom floor got absolutely soaking the whole time we were there due to its small size, and the shower temperature is very hard to control so it’s either freezing or boiling! The room only includes body wash so make sure you bring any extra toiletries you may need including shampoo etc… (I made this mistake! And the shop with toiletries doesn’t open until 8.30pm).
We ate at the restaurant the first night and there was plenty of food choice with it being £53 for two of us. There is also a Costa with pizzas- however the pizza is 2x smaller than the box it comes in.
There was a choice of 4 separate movies in the cinema, the service is fast with the drinks, there is plenty of seating around the boat, reception staff are very kind, and the live entertainment is good. There is a sun deck which is great for viewing take off and you can access this when you please.
However, on the first morning, the morning we were travelling to Amsterdam centre by coach, it took over an hour to get us on the coach- we didn’t set off until 10am, and the drive is just over an hour so we didn’t get there until 11:30 and we had to be back at the coach to go back to the ferry at no later than 5pm (shorting our stay to just over 5 hours).
We did have a bad experience in the mornings, as the first morning one of us was in the shower and I was getting undressed and a member of staff was knocking on the door and when i said to wait a moment they kept opening the door! The second night as we were in bed and waiting for the announcements to call our deck to start getting ready to leave the rooms and exit the boat (They did this for every one but our floor, which we were confused about), when they got to the floor below us, we had a member of staff knocking on the door and they opened the door to tell us it’s time for us to leave (knocking is fine but opening the door?), so we were very wary about keeping the doors locked.
Overall, I would reccomend this ferry trip- however do be wary about them opening the doors and if you are travelling to Amsterdam city centre don’t plan LOADS to do because they take ages to get you there and we were stressed the whole time trying to do what we wanted in the time we had.

My journey with P&O Ferries from Hull to Amsterdam was smooth and enjoyable. The boarding process was efficient, and the cabins were comfortable and well-equipped. The fee depends on what kind of change you are making as well as your ticket type. If the change causes your ticket to be more expensive than original booking (e.g. if changing travel dates and new sailings are more expensive) then you may also be asked to pay the difference between those. My son is such a fussy eater, last time we went he wouldn’t eat anything at the buffet . Would I be able to bring a jar of baby food for him to the buffet restaurant? And is there a microwave to heat it up? (He’s 3 years old in case that makes a difference)

You can do it by as many ways as you can contact the ferry company - 'phone, e-mail, etc. Would highly recommend doing it asap as many cabins have been refurbished to higher spec and people are more often prepared to pay the extra.
