Enjoyable dutch dash, staff friendly, entertainment was good, food nice. Next time I would upgrade cabin as getting too old for bunks 🙈

I've been on the trip many of times, as it's local to be but the standards are dropping everytime I go on the trip :(,
Trip was okay, but the room wasn't clean on the way back and even though we paid for tea and coffee it wasn't refilled, also the drop of point in Amsterdam keeps getting longer away from the centre, in 2019 ish it used to pretty much in the centre but now about a 40 minute way...

Outstanding ferry company went on this twice both times on the pride of Rotterdam was going to give this 4 stars because there was no Wi-Fi but p&o crew really do go the extra mile and the cabins and breakfast were good so I am giving it 5 will definitely do it again!

Had a great trip, I did this route for the first time back in February and this time we booked one of the Club rooms. Really nice and spotlessly clean.

The ships entertainment was a little cheesy but good fun.

Food is decent from the restaurant , .

Over all I’ve nothing to moan about we have a great time

Das Einchecken zieht sich immer ordentlich, aber das kann ja auch inzwischen an dem Status, den GB inzwischen hat, liegen.
Wenn man auf dem Schiff ist, ist alles prima. Das Service-Personal war auf Hin- und Rückfahrt zu 100% aus den Philippinen und sehr freundlich.
Das Angebot an Speisen und Getränken ist auch sehr gut.
Die Live-Musik haben wir sehr genossen.

Was ich allerdings nicht nachvollziehen kann ist, dass wir für 4 Bier auf der Hinfahrt 24 Pfund und auf der Rückfahrt für exakt dieselbe Auswahl an Menge und Sorte 3,60 Pfund weniger bezahlt haben.
Prese für Bier stehen sowieso nirgendwo - nur für Cocktails.

Was mich immer noch ärgert und wohl auch der Grund ist, warum ich künftig IMMER erst WOANDERS nachschauen werde:
Wir haben im Dezember gebucht.
Wir wollten den Frühbucher-Rabatt (nicht unerheblich) nutzen.
Wir haben diesen auf der Website nicht gefunden.
Dazu hätten wir GANZ NACH UNTEN toggeln müssen und dann auf einen Button klicken, der nicht etwa die Aufschrift "Frühbucher-Rabatt" trug, sondern so etwas wie "Ihre Reiseplanung".
Wir haben uns dann per Telefon und Mail an P&O gewandt, wurden aber (und nicht wirklich freundlich) darauf hingewiesen, "dass wir wohl nicht alles gelesen hätten".
Einen Tag nach unserem Anruf war die Schaltfläche viel weiter oben auf der Seite platziert und trug plötzlich eine entsprechende Bezeichnung.
Mir geht es nicht nur um das Geld, sondern vor allem um das Gefühl.
Und das war einfach gar nicht gut!
Vor der Rückfahrt hat man uns noch eine E-Mail gesendet, damit wir vor dem Einchecken all unsere Daten noch einmal in ein Web-Formular eingeben.
Unser Freund konnte sich mit seiner Buchungs-Nummer NICHT einloggen.
Also haben wir eine E-Mail an P&O gesendet und nachgefragt.
Die Antwort war, dass wir die Mail von P&O zur Neueingabe der Daten ignorieren können.
Darauf muss man erst einmal kommen.
Wenn man dann noch erfährt, dass P&O inzwischen einem Unternehmer aus Dubai gehört
und man die Mitarbeiter alles andere als gut behandelt, bleibt ein noch viel schlechteres Gefühl zurück.

1. Stopped along with a group of young men who were diverted to be "checked". In the end, after being held up, they decided they didn't want to check my baggage after all. OK, part of the "inconsiderate" inconveniences we have to put up with from travel operators these days BUT...
while standing there I was a public spectator to what went on. Out came all the men's belongings, first held up for inspection then laid out on a table. Underwear, the lot. Yes, in public. Well, P&O, I had a long onward journey from Rotterdam yet I most definitely would NOT submit to public humilation i.e. would not have made the journey. Totally outrageous. Not sure where P&O get these so-called security people from but their behaviour is totally unacceptable.
2. The foot passenger tunnel was not working. The explanation was it regularly breaks down in hot weather. Had to descend the side of building down to the roadway to join the ship.
3. On my return journey two escalators were not working so had to lift heavy suitcases down flights of stairs. Use the lifts? Not possible because these were needed for those with mobility issues.
4. Food on board nothing like it used to be. There have obviously been some severe cutbacks in the restaurant and possibly even in the standards of catering management. I will review separately about that.
5. On board staff whose poor English results in garbled announcements. Again, I will review separately.

If I could give no star rating I would. If you travelled on a very low price deal, then good for you and maybe you accept all this as worth it. To me though, paying good money for such poor services, it means I won't use P&O again. The route has gone from quite good to rock bottom.

Can't follow the government guidelines
Made a booking. They changed it causing me to pay for a hotel, and didn't pay for this. After much exchange and ABTA confirming they should pay as per the guidelines, they still refused. ABTA said the only way to get this back is to take them to court. I also asked for a subject access request and they have defaulted on the time it should have taken them. They are the Ryan Air of the ocean.

Absolute joke of a company.

Great ferry welcome, departure & voyage. Food in brasserie great ( breakfast & dinner) and service outstanding. Cabin was small but comfortable with a good bathroom / shower. Unfortunately the foot passenger gantry/ walkway was broken on arrival in Hull that spoiled the journey. Long delay until all vehicles had departed so they could bring buses on board to move foot passengers. Otherwise would have rated a 5*

P&O Arcadia Cruise Ship - Fantastic!!

Our first cruise and after reading a few reviews we were a bit apprehensive but from start to finish our cruise from Southampton to the Fjords, Norway was fantastic. Food was excellent and staff were lovely.
Highly recommend this cruise.
