Mally was the highlight with his comic entertainment and local knowledge and for two pounds on the train plus two pounds on the boating lake with ice cream thrown in there is nowhere giving that value for money absolutely brilliant Mally Welburn you are a credit to your city.

The best two pounds you will spend! Hop on the little train around Hull and enjoy some entertainment and history from the driver Mally. Loved it and it passes all around the cultural sites so you can hop on and hop off.

It's fantastic to take a trip around Hull on the little train what an experience and finding more about hull what we didn't know we got dropped off at the museums and mally was a real gentleman to everyone if its available use it well worth the money and the experience

Had a fab time today on the land train. The driver Mally is so funny and makes the journey so much fun.Hes always up for a chat and a photo too. I would recommend every one goes on it at least once!

Excellent value for money and drivers non stop chatter really added to it. As a Hull born and bred lady I learnt a thing or two.

We were visiting the deep, and hulls old town, when we saw the land train. It wasn't on our agenda, but as we arrived near city Hall, I said to the wife, shall we take the little one on mallys train.
Lucky for us he arrived, for four of us, around fourty plus minutes, we paid a small price, of eight pounds, and he even gave all the kids a free ice lolly, half way through the journey.
To be fair I've got a fairly good idea of hulls history, but mallys rambling keeps you entertained, from the start to the end, I'm glad we tried the train.
When I concider, the price I pay, for those short journeys, at seaside, mally could teach those lot value for money,
it's fun.
Even if I think mallys a little bit of a hull loon 😁

Had such a good laugh on this train ride! Driver was loads of fun with history of hull, general info and a good tune! For £2 pp for 40 mins, a nice way to put your feet up and enjoy the city!

Jumped on at the museum to treat granddaughter to a little ride. All good fun with a little bit of history thrown in. Easy way to pass 30 minutes, she loved it.

What a great little trip. The entertainment didn't stop. A really friendly crew who work hard to provide background knowledge as well as entertaining commentary. 45 minutes very well worth every penny. Don't miss it of you get the chance.

Will the land train be running from city hall on Friday. Last time we visited hull on a Sunday. We waited but no one turned up and then tourist info office informed us you had decided not to operate that day

There are now 2 land trains, one from city hall and one at East park. Should be open every day now! Time to take your kids to view the new seated swans at East Park pond too, or take a dip in the water shute!
