在英国待了半个月吧，全程坐火车，没想到这边火车是非常方便的。湖区风景如画！在trainpal买了railcard，最近输RC777F这个码还打八折，交通非常顺畅，推荐给大家。

我和伙伴做了中等难度的科珀曼河徒步，而且很享受。如果你不熟悉这个区域，有向导的徒步是很棒的，而且不要想象很多跨越。我们的向导是学识渊博的而且不会用事实和更多事实让你觉得极度乏味。他们提供恰到好处数量的知识，让我们用享受徒步和景色。总共耗时3.5小时，中间休息时有一顿午饭。

我们很喜欢这里！！！我们开车到每个湖泊，但耽搁了点时间，所以没能看到所有湖泊。我们是冬天去的，但那天是个晴天！很适合夏天旅游，可以真正享受丰富多彩的风景。这里的人都很可爱，每个人都有礼貌和乐于助人。我喜欢农村和山坡上的山谷，而且这种喜欢在这里被无限放大。这里适合所有人，小孩、大人、步行者、司机和徒步旅行者都可以来。下一次来这旅行肯定要试试徒步旅行。你需要一辆汽车开到这里，并有大量的BnB以及适合购物的大量服装店。

Hi we are coming to Keswick in September for 2 nights . We have been a few times and are looking for a nice walk . We have already done cat bells and walked around derwent water lake so just wondering what other nice walks are recommended.

I'd like to ask a question please - sorry it's a bit uncomfortable but here goes. We are an interracial family and although we want to visit the Lake District. I went there a few years ago and saw no ethnicity at all. My husband (black) is not bothered about racism if it occurs but our little girl is worried and we don't want her subjected to any nastiness. Does anyone think we may encounter problems? Thank you.

Visiting in February - have a spare week - would love to visit the lake district to see scenery - is Feb a good month? or too cold - also any advice on where to base ourselves - we won't be driving so hoping to take tours / bikes - any recommendations would be appreciated - Cheers

I've only been once but I'd imagine any month is a good month. It's a beautiful place and very scenic. Cumbria would probably be a good destination, as things are a little bit more accessible there. Perhaps Centre Parcs would be appropriate? There's a Centre Parcs located in Cumbria 'Whinfell Forest'
