Bought a fabulous sheepskin for my arm chair. Not pushy, knowledgeable and pleasant time spent browsing in shop. A must visit if in Ambleside.

I was looking for a new sheepskin for my car front seats and whilst on holiday in Ambleside, it was a no-brainer to visit this shop. I'd already purchased a sheepskin here a couple of years ago as a rug for my bedroom, so I knew they had a good selection to choose from. Rick took the time to determine the best skin and price point that I was looking for, so I came away with the perfect solution.

Great shop with some fantastic stuff. Went to buy my wife some boots, great choice good price and fantastic quality. Visited a few times now always leave with something. There Herdwick rugs are just amazing, a must visit whilst in Ambleside.

Very friendly knowledgeable chap in store who had an excellent sense of humour when I teased him about vegetarian hides which was appreciated so much we made a great couple of purchases.

Bought a sheep cuddly toy and paid £23 - it was 9.99 in another shop close by. The same thing ! Disappointed and overpriced!

Now, about the price comparison - we understand that it might seem like a bummer to have paid more than you found in another shop nearby. However, we'd like to shed some light on this woolly situation. Our sheep cuddly toys are not your run-of-the-mill stuffed animals. We take sheep cuddling to a whole new level with three distinct types of sheep, each carefully crafted for maximum cuddliness. We're talking Ambleside Sheepskins exclusives here! So, finding the exact same sheep in another store might be as rare as finding a unicorn wearing a fleece coat.

We did the Windermere boat trip and decided to stop off at Ambleside. Weren’t we lucky as we stumbled across this beautiful shop. I have never seen so many different types of sheepskins and off course I had to buy one a very beautiful Icelandic rug it’s absolutely stunning. Would really recommend a visit.

Fantastic quality sheepskin rugs and other products. Really friendly service. We have bought several rugs now and keep coming back for more. The quality is amazing and the service and expertise is excellent. A great local business.
