Bought a friend a voucher for abseil of transporter bridge .Our plan was to do in Aug or Sept as a joint birthday present when we both able to make the same time and dates .Due to the bridge been closed since July unable to use since and company now say expired .Really disappointed with the whole experience certainly would not recommend if this is how they treat customers

What a super adventure! Ken was thorough and professional prior to and especially during the activity, minimising risks and allowing all of us to push out of our comfort zones. The smiles on my children's faces, given the temperature and wind-chill, more than evidenced the success of the experience. Will certainly look to use again. Thank you

It was great to meet you and your children, and see them braving the cold temperatures and doing their best to keep themselves warm. They certainly did fantastic in all of the challenges presented to them. I'm pleased that you enjoyed the session and look forward to seeing you all again

Brilliant fun in the quarry, abseiling and jumping in the water! Perfect adventure fun rain or shine

This is great fun for the whole family or for a bunch of friends! We started the day with a long abseil - it was a bit wet but it didn't stop us! Then moved to the other side of the quarry for a shorter and more vertical abseil near to a cave with ladder access. After a stop for lunch we put on wetsuits and ventured into the quarry via a hidden tunnel where we spent the afternoon in the water - jumping in from various points around the quarry, and finishing with a short abseil and jump! I'd highly recommend Ken - his kit is quality, his instructions are clear and his approach to safety gives you confidence to have an amazing adventure. Thank you Ken, we'll be back for more of your fun activities!

Four of us had a great day out with Ken and Odessey Adventure
Easy communication at the start, both for what we need to bring and where to meet up.
Ken was well kitted out, with all the equipment we needed for the day.
Started with two abseils at Hodge Close, one of which was near vertical, with the last bit in open space, second one on a steep cliff. This was followed by a quick tour of the tunnels at this location and a creative photo.
After lunch we headed over to Cathedral Cavern, for a tour of the tunnels which eventually took us to the top, and another couple of abseils, both of which were over 100ft, with a signifcant element of open space.
Great day out, really enjoyed it

Booked a last minute weekend away to the Lake District with my boyfriend and was looking for some activities to do other than the lovely walks. I stumbled across the idea of ghyll scrambling online and ended up booking with Odyssey Adventures. What I can say....we had the best afternoon. The concept incredible - scrambling up and down waterfalls, rock climbing and 6m jumps into water! We were so lucky as the weather was beautiful and just so hot but I can imagine this is a great idea even in colder or wet weather. And finally ken was amazing, such a lovely guy who really made the afternoon what it was!! We can only highly recommend this activity with Ken, you certainly won’t regret it! Plus he takes lots of lovely photos for you to download free of charge - such a lovely touch! We will be booking and trying another adventure sometime in the future I’m sure!

We (4 young men) had a Fantastic day on the Via Ferrata Extreme with Ken - he's a brilliant bloke, inspires confidence, is very knowledgable, but most of all, is an all round nice guy! Highly recommended!

Staff great & well organised. Relaxed, friendly approach to the whole thing. Good value for money experience. Full explanation given. I received this as a present but will defo do it again. The transporter bridge is an excellent venue with plenty of parking.

We foolishly decided to do this as part of a stag do weekend to the Lakes. After a night of merriment we Joined Ken and trekked up the mountain feeling worse for wear. However, as soon as we set foot on those old slatey hillsides we regressed straight back into our apelike genetic origins clambering about with ease. The whole journey is exceptional, with wonderful views down the valley, the wind in your hair makes every precarious wobble on the rope bridge worth it. Our guide Ken was amazing, talking us through everything and making sure we were totally comfortable, while getting pictures of every last hungover face struggling up each cliffside. If you don't mind heights, do it! If you don't like heights, still do it! There is no better and more secure way to over come them. I give it 5/5 G's, the highest of accolades.

What a fantastic experience today, made even better by the wonderful team at Odyssey Adventures. Last minute changes and add ons were no trouble at all. Your amazing, friendly staff made today’s experience one to remember. Lots of knowledge about the bridge and the surrounding area, a calm friendly manner putting everyone at ease and big smiling faces. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anybody. We will definitely be looking at the over experiences you offer. Thank you so much from everyone at Seaton United FC 😃💪🏻

Had an absolutely brilliant time, Ken is a fantastic instructor, very patient and helpful. The location was excellent, and I had a great day.

We can do the dry part of the adventure in December no problem with the abseils, caves and climbing but unfortunately the water is simply too cold for us to spend the required time in for the jumps and swims

We provide you with a wetsuit, safety helmet, bouyancy aid (vest), cag (jacket) and harness if needed. You will need to bring a swimming costume for under your wetsuit, some knee length shorts for over your wetsuit (to prevent damage to wetsuit from rock slides) some trainers or hiking boots and close fitting socks long enough to keep your ankles warm
